  1. 4/2/17 We fix an appointment with my ID to go over my new flat to have a look at its condition and at the same time, request him to add in anything that he think that need to be change. He was punctual and he was already outside the unit 15 min earlier! Thumbs Up! So me and my excited family went over last sat night to view the unit THOROUGHLY to check any major defect that need to be add onto the reno. Thanks to the current owner for letting us come over on a weekend! They are in a midst of packing too. Below are some pic that we manage to snap. Look at the amount of people we brought. They are as EXCITED!!!! VIEW OF THE LIVING ROOM Condition of the platform @ balcony Replace floor vinyl and change color to suit our theme. Probably lightest of grey! Pic of room no 3 (Spare Room) The built in cupboard is still in good condition but we decided to dismantle all existing cupboard. Where the TV console will be at Pic of room no 4 (helper's room) We will dismantle this brown cupboard. We hate it so much. Very Old school!! Our L shaped dining area reconstruct the whole material and color of the L bench as the color did not suite our theme Construct a "mini guest room" behind the dining area. We will keep the storage cupboard as it still in a very good condition. We did not snap a pic of the master and bedroom 2 as we were engrossed in discussing the details with our ID. We are still waiting for my ID to invite us over to his office to choose the color and material of the carpentry works. Will keep everyone posted on the update of my reno journey.
  2. So, today, we went to shop hopping to look for fans for our new flat over at tampoi and wifey fell in love with the Sapphire designer Light + a hidden fan for our dining area. We couldn't decide if we want a fan or a light on top of our dining area. Therefore, this light+hidden fan is the best choice for us. The blade will "come out" when we turn on the fan Where is the blade?? MAGIC!! HAHA! How it look like when the light is turn off And when the light is turn ON! TAADAA!! This is an example of how the fan works when turned on We extremely love this design and place the deposit straightaway. As for the room's fan, we have set an eye on Elmark transformer model but decided to compare the price in SG as advised by the honest Salesman. Now time to search in SG and at the same time, to look for AC too. Any recommendation for a system 3 AC for me? Any place that has the best workmanship and great customer service for AC?
  3. Hello @albertchan659 The only idea that my id gave was the walk in wardrobe in the master bedroom that we love. The rest was planned by us. I will write a review of my id once the reno completed. There could be hiccups along the way which is unavoidable. Will update everyone with the 3d soon! Roughly Mid feb onwards!
  4. Hello @doctor123 I engage an agent to source an EA in pasir ris. As im currently residing in Tamp, i hate the idea of moving out of east side.
  5. Hello!! For the guest room, i wont be installing air con. Thought of a standing fan. Its more of a prayer room for my family. I am installing a bi fold door so that it wont feel stuffy when no one is using that room. Yes! Very interesting indeed! The walk in wardrobe idea was given by my ID. The toilet entrance is concealed by the walk in wardrobe. We were worried about the "SMELL" initially but my iD assured us that there wont be any smell as there will be a toilet door. Its like an alley where your clothes will be on the left & right before you enter the toilet Unfortunately, can only fit Queen. But hey, Queen is good enough for us! Will keep you posted once the 3D is out after CNY. Cross finger!
  6. Exactly! Its a move in condition but because of itchy hands, decided to reno the house.
  7. OUR NEW GUEST ROOM BEHIND OUR L SHAPE DINING AREA Half window on 1 side and Bi-fold on the other side We will be reconstructing the whole L shaped dining area to suit our design and color scheme CURRENT LIVING ROOM (Before Reno) New TV console Change color of the balcony flooring
  8. APOLOGIES ON THE LENGTHY INPUT We really have no luck on applying for BTO. We tried 4 x but all our queue number are over the units available. We are a young couples but luck is really not on our side. Its a blessing in disguise i guess! Therefore, we've decided to get a resale in the east, for one big reason - SPACE!!!!! We will be collecting our key somewhere in April 17. We have decided not to hack the whole flooring, kitchen cabinet and toilet (Will need to change the toilet bowl for hygiene purposes) I will update my renovation progress once its started! Here is my floor plan and the works we have ask for quotation. The quotation that we got is quite reasonable.
