noelng, can remember the oven brand and model or not ? $299 cheap leh... spinball, when I open my door, here's what my mom did (don't ask me why, I just let her do whatever she want lolx). 1) Go to everycorner of the house, throw some mixture of salt & rice (this is suppose to remove the "muddy air" and moisture) 2) Must buy pineapple to bring in (suppose to bring in fortune "wang lai" ma understand ?) 3) 5 oranges put in the middle of the living area (guess it symbol "gold" ?) haha.... only chinese will do such things ! However, no prayer is performed as we are not really into these things.

ckoonyin, not only I scared gas one will explode, I will also worry about gas leakage.... scary sia. I prefer to spend a little bit on electricity so that I don't need to worry so much. I read through the link you provided but also cannot make up my mind for instant or storage. Thanks for the contact, will call ackerman.

Hi Missy, Already emailed to you my floor plan. Thanks in advance. raincole, I saw some thread curtains at IMM, comes in brown and black. Quite nice but $150 per mtr looks "fragile". Any kids run through might just pull the threads off. Nice but not very practical. I had thought of building a divider between the main doors & kitchen doors but it will takes up some space free space lo. So hoping my full length shoe rack will divert some attention away from the kitchen door. Amoyz

Shoe rack not facing the main door, but perpendicular. Meaning from main door, will see the shoe rach side. So sort of cover part of the kitchen view lo. Not into FS thing though just wanna make the kitchen more conceal.

Yes. Once you open the main door, you will face the kitchen door directly and see the whole kitchen lo.

Kitchen has wall... but still very obvious lo.

Hi there, The only thing I dont like about my new flat structure. Once you open the main door, you will see into kitchen directly. Just wanna gather some idea how to counter this. My designer had offer to build full length shoe rack, but the carpentry quite ex leh. Thanks ya.
