hi starscream, thanks! hi junxian, nope..we din do any bed head.. our bed has got it's own "bed head" we din do anythin to the wall..juz place the bed against the aircon truckin although there's a gap between bed and wall.

hi somebody, hmm actually we kinda like the effect of tat wall, cos now tat wall looks curved in a way..quite a nice shape hee. and it actually kinda straighten tat part so tat sofa and tv console wil b parallel. disadvantages hmm... i tink 1 major disadvantage might be it blocks out light from the last window (the corner window on the right). tat's y previously was tellin hubby shld have done half height partition as sugg by another ID previously. however, hubby remarked tat if half height, might not b so nice and dun have tat "curve" hee other than tat, perhaps might make the the living room appear a bit smaller than the usual layout, i mean as compared to if we didnt hack the wall between MBR & living wall & din build tat partition. but i feel it's quite ok.. not reali tat cramp hee..no la the furniture ok only. but thanks very much for the compliment! i like the l-shape part the most haha. can lie comfortably to watch tv hee ya lor... was wonderin whether after all the reno's completed for our neighbourhood, stil wil b so dusty not? but i tink no matter wat, the dust on the black surface wil definitely b obvious. even wipe already stil got a bit here and there btw, camera's batt flat..cant take pics. mayb gota wait til nex wk. i'm stil waitin for id to finish up the pendin items..arrgghh

hi all, wow juz read the updates in this thread since readin it abt 1wk+ back. hmm quite a lot of comments on neighbours.. well i guess for the enbloc grp, perhaps most of them r the older generation..so tend to have more things which they brought over. and also dun bear to throw them away.. understand it's kinda unsightly and might obstruct the walkway since our corridor is reali quite narrow. tink NiVleK's neighbour reali a bit overboard... hopefully TC gives u a satisfactory reply and take action soon. for us, we've shifted in on 8/6 guess we r quite lucky. our neighbour is a rather young couple with a daughter. ours is corridor unit but we dun have any prob wif our neighbour..neither do we leave our stuff outside hee. but as our reno stil not fully completed, sometimes the worker dirty the common corridor we also feel quite pai sei but my neighbour has been friendly so far.. and glad to c new neighbours in our neighbourhood and 2 new additions to our blk hee. o.. so the flats werent premium in the 1st place.. tat explains the quality of the flooring etc. anyway, personally i've never thought of stayin in JW. felt it was at the extreme end and boon lay is reali a very very crowded place..juz look at jurong point hee. but when my frn told me he's ballotin for flats here, and i very much wana have a place on my own, so managed to persuade hubby to apply too hee. and we din regret gettin an unit.. love the unit we've chosen. guess quite a lot of ppl din wan those facin the temple.. but to us, we kinda liked it. hubby likes the view and it's quite window especially being on high floor hee. we r shiftin in this sun 8/6 and reali excited abt it! haha. reali hope to know more neighbours out there too! i juz confirmed my curtains on tue hee. juz PMed u

nex up.. shoe cabinet shoe cabinet with seatee incompleted.. open area for us to put our more often worn shoes side of display niche where there are shelvings inside these doors shelving unit with drawers in our WIW chest of drawers in WIW whereby our pole hangin system wil b on top of it ok notice 2 drawers on top row dun have locks? cos they're fake hee. cant b used as the space is used for our tv console which is recess in to share the space with the WIW.. to save cost as we've got low budget
