Hi Guys, With the ever increasing temperature and the rising electricity costs, I'm looking at getting my house solar filmed. Did tonnes of homework over the past couple of months and decided upon Huper Optiks for my place. When there's enough people getting it together, I'm sure we can negotiate for a better deal, especially since it's the 7th Month now and sales volume is low. You are absolutely right. Looking at Huper's ceramic 30 now.. $10/sqft. Works out to be around $950... Kinda pricey....

Not too sure if anyone still checks this thread... Anyone installed window film for their windows? I'm staying in 675A and my unit gets the afternoon sun.. Looking at installing window film to reduce the heat in the house, especially with the baby that's due in Oct and the weather recently is crazy!!

Anyone else has encountered problems with All Best Air-Conditioning & Electric Pte Ltd? I too have encountered problems with them and the sweating pipes caused massive leakings and drippings and it damaged quite a bit of my IT and Electronic equipment in my study room!!! AND all these even though they had come down for servicing and repair works for more than 5 times! Can you imagine?? I'm currently using 3/4" insulation and it's still leaking!! Does anyone of you have any experiences with their professionalism or rather, the lack of it??

I have been looking for Salt Crystal Lamps for the past couple of weeks... Anyone knows a place where there is a wide selection of the lamps? There used to be a shop that specializes in these lamps at the Selegie area, but can't seem to find it when I went there yesterday...

MaCe, Any advise on how to prevent the stainless steel shelves for the shower from rusting? Bought the corner shelves from Hoe Kee and after using for less than 2 weeks, I discovered rust spots already!! Must be lower grade of Stainless Steel... Paid double to get the SS shelves when compared to the chrome plated ones to avoid the peeling and tarnishing and now, it's rusting away... Must remember to wipe the shelves dry after showering each time now....

Yeah.. Hmm.. Think that in the long run, installing the solar films will help to reduce the heat from the scorching sun.... Anyone keen in getting solar films? Maybe I can wrestle a cheaper price if there's a few people buying them together... Guys, do you have any recommendations? V-Kool? Huper Optik? Cool N Lite?
