Thanks for the cushion links! Lol I have approached nick too and he also squatted at one corner of the house while his assistants took measurements. I guess it's just his style la. He was one of our final 2 choices but we picked another contractor in the end coz hubby prefers one that will handle the project alone. There was a cabinet that I self designed. What really impressed me about nick was that he was able to draw up the 3d image of the cabinet using software while we were discussing and even improvised on my design. I'm hopeless at using those softwares lol. -

Wee u weet! Your living room looks very chic! Did you have a hard time assembling the taobao stuff? The carpet really matches the wall so i think your wall colour turned out well. And your 11.11 buys are already delivered! Ezbuy is really stressing me out. Some of my items are still under "order placed" status rawr! Wow your tb buying process sounds like a lot of work. Must have required lots of patience and effort to pull it off. Think I still prefer the lazy man's way haha. I'll probably switch to peeka instead. I love your black knives and magnetic block! Lol even your cutting board is black too. Yea i agree moving house is tough work! Having a huge headache thinking of the things to do as the completion day draws near..

Ooh I thought u meant chio gold spray hahahha. Bought the clear Rustoleum last weekend! Wasn't sure of which gold spray to get so in the end didn't buy any. The Amazon cabinet handles look good and cheap! Even cheaper than those I got off taobao . If only i've known about these earlier! Feeling cheated now.. -
Yea I used ezbuy.. In fact, hubby insisted on it coz he wants to use a big company who has leverage and can help us deal with the seller if anything goes wrong (who is he kidding lol). Also our fault for not reading the fine prints. Apparently free agent and discounted shipping dont apply to Buy-For-Me service . What an expensive lesson! Which forwarder are u using? Do u mind giving me the link? I also dunno what is good and bad water pressure la. Never used rain shower before.. feel so suaku lol. Why are u not intending to move anymore? Is the location very good? Hello my Idol. U really know how to torture ppl hor! I was so excited to finally see some pics but they are 3 pics of the same bed . At this rate, can only see your entire house after the new year! Hahaha anyway your bed looks great against the blue wall. MOAR pics please!!

Hahaha are u getting major furniture from taobao too? High 5!! I got a rude shock when my GST+Agent+Shipping fee came up to $960. But bopian have to pay. Where are the pics u promised to upload!! Very troublesome to replace the flooring leh coz u need to store the barang barang elsewhere and you'll have strangers entering the house all the time. Not to mention that it's freaking noisy when they polish the tiles. Also super dirty and dusty which will kena your furniture and whatnot. Might as well get a new house altogether so can post another reno blog! Oh ya I wanted to ask u if u installed a storage heater (not sure if I have missed your post). If so then the water pressure is still weak? Did u adjust the meter outside to the max? For my aircon, amazingly, nobody blamed HDB (yet). I will need to check this Sunday if everything has been rectified. Feeling so impatient coz we are nearing the carpentry stage now and NOTHING IS HAPPENING. Ahhh pls help relieve my stress by posting more of your progress pics!!

Thank you!! Your place still looks really good! Can tell that u have spent lots of effort cleaning to maintain it. Did you get white grout for your master bathroom tiles? Edmund advised me against it coz apparently they will turn yellow against China made tiles so we went for darker grout instead. Now I'm regretting my decision after seeing your beautiful toilet.. Seems that he is right that gold painted items will darken/tarnish over time though. I'm worried now coz I have quite a few gold painted stuff! -

I have read through your entire blog some time ago and not sure if u have mentioned this before. May I know where you bought your Rustoleum spray? Tried but couldn't find it in Homefix.. -
Wa u plan to hack after 3 years? Then must find another place to stay in the meantime coz it will be v dirty :x Lol I accidentally posted before commenting (trouble with mobile phone). My stupid living room aircon still got prob ah! The contractor workers said they built the box up based on the aircon trunkings. So last Saturday GC came to fix and showed my hubby that it's straight now by using some equipment called a bubble ruler. But it still looks tilted coz not aligned with the box up and now it'd be my contractor 's turn to fix. Bopi this time no more prob pls.. My hhs door will be painted black too! Like urs but with blackboard paint. Wa vinilex 5000 comes off easily? My contractor is using that too since its cheaper than odourless ones. I can already imagine the heartpain if I damage the paint So how's life in the new house? I'm still waiting impatiently for the completed pics hehehe. If I start a blog then u'll definitely be the first few to know probably not now though. Been so stressed with work, reno and exams rawrrr!

Wah wah wah very good progress! I think your toilet turned out really well even though you didn't overlay the tiles (overlaying took up a big chunk of our reno budget ). Went to check last week and found out that one of my aircon units was slightly tilted. So the gain city peeps have to come back this Saturday to rectify sighhhh.. well im glad that our gain city salesman is a responsible guy. He arranged and booked the rectification date right after receiving hubby's call.. so thumbs up! Hopefully no more issues after that. Btw gain city installers made 3 trips coz I overlay my toilets. Once to drill the holes before overlaying, then lay trunking and install the blower units, and finally to make good the walls. Have you tested your taobao rain shower? Is the water pressure good? I bought one from tb too but in black and gold . Still not installed yet. Can't wait to see your living and bed rooms!! You must be really bz moving stuff. This is the last lap liao. Jiayou jiayous!!
