Yeah. My project employes more 600 workers and safety is a top priority. So far my projects have not met with any fatality but I witness one myself when I was inspecting my colleagues' project. Like what you said, they are simply just not safety conscious. My stand to them is simple, even if the job is urgent, do not take safety shortcuts, do all necessary precautions and that everything is in place, if you think it is not safe, DO NOT DO IT!!! Tell your supervisor or escalate all the way up to me to solve the issue. Daily toolbox meetings, safety meetings, RAs, JHAs, HAZOP, HAZID, SCE whatever are only useful if ppl follow up!! IF not, they are just talk talk or paper exercise.

Hahaha I am opposite of you. Now I stay 10mins from Orchard Road (but I hate orchard road, **** crowded, yucks) but I am moving to the west END of singapore, super far from orchard hahaha But living at so high is goooooooooooodddddd!!! I love high units!!!! -
In my humble opinon, having those plastic shower curtain might as well dun have la.... I used before and I think no use la... Those glass doors are tempered ones so they will not break so easily, unless purposely take a hammer and whack. Besides, they look nice. If not, can opt for those plastic sliding doors...

West Facing Rooms- Very/too Hot?
NiVleK replied to gohvicc's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
My new place in JW has the sunlight shinning all the way into the living room and all the bedrooms. I have not moved into it, but I reckon that it will be HOT! However, currently at my mother's place, my bedroom is also the hottest!!! So hopefully I will get used to it. In any case, both my WTB and I will not be home in the day..so I guess it will be fine. BLAST THE FAN LOR! -
Looks to me like those custom made shelves...?

Paper chase is the way to go IMO. At least a degree. Take for example, my other half, she got a dipolma in some IT course but she is now doing admin work and not interested in programming or whatsoever. Instead she is interested in financial and biz, so I told her to take up more education to pave her way. Doing degree immediately with her dipolma cert should be no issue, but then she is afraid of the difficulty in doing so. So I told her to take a dipolma in a related biz course first to build the background and her confidence. In short, I always believe the minimum one should get now, is a degree. I think now anyhow throw a stone 80% also kanna a person holding a degree. my 0.0005cts

Hong Liang price is reasonable but Maximum credit tends to give a higher quote. If you do call quotation, remember to get the person name that is quoting you. -
Whoa, nice... how long did that take?

I just got myself a 46" Sharp A83. First choice was 50PY700 then, but decided against it hahaha. Hope it is as good as the cnet review claims!! -

Hahaha. Just some simple knowledge only...in any case, after balancing, the clips visible from below? Cos the weights have to remain there to keep it balanced.
-
I already added leh...a little noisy to me, but then again i never own ceiling fans before so I dunno how many decibels the fan should sound? Hahaha
-
But seriously, how they do balancing? Normally for rotation type of mechanism, balancing can only be achieved, if you add weights to the blades, so for ceiling fans...how ah?
