Wharfedale Diamond + Onkyo 606 Also depends on your requirements la...I started off with el-cheapo PC HT systems, upgrade to more "professional" HTIB, then to Onkyo HTIB and then now with my Wharfedale setup, which I think will last me for a long time cos my ears cannot hear anything better than that. To many of my friends, there is no difference in HTIB and "dedicated" HTS.

Ok. Thanks. BTW, anyone find our place a little too center from the three malls? Jurong Point, Gek Poh and Pioneer Mall. So far, I only tried walking to and fro Jurong Point. Gek Poh and Pioneer Mall seems far.. -
I highly recommend KEC Sound Systems. But first, have a budget in mind.

Anyone subscribes to Straits Times here??? I want to know the approximate timing for the delivery at our area as I leave my place early (around 645am) and I want to bring the papers to my workplace. -

Yeah. I want to join in the gathering too!! Btw, TC replied me with those very standard answers. Perhaps later I should copy some and quote it here. Basically what the meaning to me was, "we will post notices on board to inform them and there is an officer walking around daily to see if anyone needs some advice of usage of common areas. Other than that, your problem la." I am still pissed and will wait to see if there is any improvements. And you are right about the MBR shower thing. Gek Poh DIY shop (near Prime) sells these rubber thing of different flap lengths, each $11. I am going to get one soon to try it but dunno which length to get... It's really quite irritating to see water seeping into the supposedly dry area. -
Hahaha. Nothing special mah? Two balls and one sausage? So? Eat it la. Dun think too much

Just go to Adelphi and there are loads of shops selling HT stuff
-
Personal choice la....I prefer to have one inside. Cos first a lot of shoes, prevents theft, and common areas neater.

Uninova. I also saw this table cos a fellow forumer brought it and its the size that I want. Thanks. It is actually supposed to be a much bigger storage place but due to the fact that I want a big TV. >46" to be mounted, a larger storage place is not possible in the feature wall as the TV will obstruct the opening. So in the end have to do with the much shrink down hidden storage. When I go back to my parent house... I try to find and give you.

Yups. Its ok. At least got some more ideas!

Time to go Ikea again!

View from my place in the night...seemingly quiet but alarmingly noisy to my expectations though I am staying at a high unit.
-
I am using an Onkyo receiver which I believe there are others using it here. Previously I am using the Onkyo HTIB system which I still prefer over Sony/Samsung/Philips. If Onkyo HTIB is not ok, I will go for Jamo HTIB.
-
Thats also because my feature wall is actually a triangle shape in order to make the feature straight.

Yo! Wah, everytime I come your blog I learn something. I already got the same hanger cos I saw it here.. Now that dustbin looks interesting!! Is it supposed to be mounted that way? Can it be taken out? I am looking for a good way to dump my daily things and getting a $180 20L bin from simplehuman is one, but thats **** expensive. Enlighten me with the details please?

Thats why I am pissed. I am a reasonable person, but I am unreasonable if you are also one inconsiderate person. To have small racks and few potted plants is ok to me. But to occupy 90% of the stretch of the corridor including the tiny space in front of my door is unacceptable. Till now, WCTC reply is feeble. -
Hahhaa created an animation to show what is inside my feature wall
-
Yups. It is just about strong enuff to hold it. A slight nudge will send it closing though...
-
Ok. Any other cheaper places to get this dustbin. $180 for a dustbin really takes the cake.

Hahha. Not condemming enbloc ppl la. Just that, its so ugly to leave things in the corridor lor... -
Yeah...was very busy delivering my project and also coping with my exams/assignments. Now got a bit of time to take photos hehe. Actually if you notice, that entire wall is slanted, I also build the feature wall of the tv console to make it straight. Hmmm.. forgot to take one photo... later I take when got time.

Really? Normal Giant bags can fit? Hmmmm....then my sense of estimating must have gone bonkers.
