Hi bebe_she! May I know where did you buy the console table placed against the wall with picture frames hanging? Do you have the dimensions and a close-up pic of that console table as well? Have been looking for something similar but no luck yet... Thanks!

Hi Bluefly, Don't think what Angel and myself are referring to here are stains... the shine is not consistant throughout the entire piece of granite. These areas that have a lesser shine are not the result of scratches or stains, rather they are patches demarcated by straight lines which I suspect may lie with how they polished the granite. Any idea if this can be fixed?

Hi plasterger, Don't worry too much. Just remember to keep a closer watch on the reno works when it is in progress. If it gets really bad, you can approach the big boss - James. I am quite sure he will do something about this since it is their reputation at stake here. -

Hi plasterger, Looking at all the rave reviews, I can only conclude that when an ID firm gets too popular, standard of service will drop due to complacency and inability to cope with the workload. When this happens, customers will always get the shorter end of the stick. It is a good thing that you realise what is lacking at the very beginning stage of your reno. At least now know what to expect and can be better prepared for other 'surprises' that might come along the way. All the best in your reno! -
Need some advice from you all.. Still dun quite understand why granite does not need polishing to bring out its shine.. I have this newly laid black galaxy countertop. Under the light, it is quite obvious that the shine is not consistant throughout the entire piece. It is rather sad since the countertop is SUPPOSE to be new The areas that have a lesser shine are not the result of scratches, rather they are patches demarcated by straight lines which I suspect may lie with how they polished the granite. Is there anyway to bring back the shine on our own or only the professionals can do it?
