When I question him sure can use over 4yrs, he still wrote validity:4 yrs for me wor. quote Point 3. Extend installation warranty to 60months. Point 6. Price gaurantee: will match or refund deposit if customer is able to purchase the same at a lower salesprice before installation. unquote

Hi Shutiao, HDB promise me my flooring will be done within 2 weeks, today I went up, they still have not lay tiles on it, the china worker told us it will take "at least" 1 week to complete the flooring. Oh yah.. that's the same guy (guy with a cap) I dealt with 2 weeks ago, sounds like a malaysian right? He is very ya ya papaya, I listed alot of defects, he told me I shld know this is the condition for a flat that is built 6-7yrs ago. He everything not rusty la, when I request to change the screw cap on both mirrors, he said is like tat one, when i insist, he said ok lor. For window hinges, I don't know what is consider rusty or not leh, din request them to change it. Anyway, we shld insist if we think we're right, as long as not too unreasonable, anyway, we have paid for all items inside. !! Another thing to check is power point. Today I brought my hp charger to charge hp (to test all powerpoint got power) and reliase my plug cannot plug into the point. So u guys & gals better check too.

Hi all, i just got Toshiba System 3 Inverter from All Best IMM today @ $2,488 from a Mr Lim. Using totaline Class 0 insulation & 23 refrigrant, using 16mm pipe size for horizontal draining. Installation warranty of 60months, Servicing vouchers of $120, 2 times installation (1 for piping before painting another is after painting they will install the aircon up). He somemore wrote price guarantee wor, will match or refund deposit if I able to purchase at a lower price from other place before my installation. Initially my husband and me looking for mit inverter system 3 @ $2,799 with a master bedroom free upgrade to higher BTU. Than my husband shook at him asking him Toshiba or Mit better. He than recommend Toshiba as Toshiba motor and assemble all in Japan and Mit motor is from japan but assemble in Thailand (I find it no diff la, but my husband think "made in jpn" better). He said Mit advertise alot, so cost is all added into our cost, whereas Toshiba don't lor, so can see the price diff. !!

Nope. When u submit online defects, there will be a lady calling u back telling u will arrange contractor to contact us. Later follow by BSC calls to fix a date with u to check defects etc. 2 ladies is from different channel.

Hi Commando, BSC do not want to change for me, I got 60+ tiles hollow, he said dig out 1 by 1 and replace, but I insist HDB lady officer to ask them to change it. If some reasonable request u request BSC, they do not want to do it for u, u can call to HDB officer directly. They will assist you. Cheers

I also heard life span for their furnitures is not long. But I guess things like curtain rods, simple shoes rack, bookshelf shld be ok. I never try their furnitures before.

Hi shutiao06, u mean u complain of rusty letterbox lock and they replace a new lock for u? I did complain too leh, but think they bor chap, they only "polish" for me. The lock still look old, but opening no problem lar. I did saw a few new locks for my block. Wondering whether to complain again or not.

Hi all, finally HDB officer fight for me to have all living rooms tiles hack but can only use the 400mm tiles. Think she got a hard time fighting for me. Pray hard that contractor guy won't do any funny things to my house.

Hi joc, i brought a cleaner up to clean the whole flat wall tiles and flooring cos very dirty, than another day to knock on the tiles to check the hollow and parquet. For parquet, I din really knock on pcs, but to check on gaps, dents and skirting. It will be a tiring job if u clean it yourself unless u got a helper to help u to clean the whole flat. Hi Haroldism, change whole door if the crack is serious. They will give u craps said if change liao, the new door will still crack after sometimes due to water in the door blah blah blah.... I insist and the "malaysian" contractor told me in attittude said ok lor, than u wait 3 mths for the new door. I said ok lor. But the prob is my husband want it to be mend if really need to wait for 3mths cos we need our reno contractor to paint our main door to other color leh. *sian* Seems like got prob with BSC contractors and they seems like can save $, they save and don't do it nice nice for u. Regret to buy this flat. My mum just bought a new flat in Punggol which is also a premium flat, they got no such problem leh, tiles is bigger type 600mmx600mm and their quality all very good, above standard, my mother got no hollow tiles, only some crack skirting only wor.

Hi Zen2008, so how is ur complain? They ok with u to change all tiles? I scare of this problem, I got 62 hollow tiles and this contractor initially said it is very bad, I requested to hack whole unit and replace them, initially they happily said ok, ask me want to change to bigger tiles to add a bit of cost, when i said i interest, he quote me $4k and below. After negotiation, I said i don't want big tiles, hack whole and change all to small tiles as what HDB gave. He said cannot, than have to do pcs by pcs, what spoilt change what. Now got agrument with them, still trying to contact HDB lady officer, which she seems like missing in action, called her sinces yesterday afternoon till today still not at her desk. Piss off...... Which higer authority u intend to send? I also want to send them letter too, can pm me the address? Thanks. Next time won't buy premium flat frm HDB, their standard is below standard mann.....

Hi Shutiao, I have called HDB branch office officer and she said she will be going down to my unit this morning. As i have said me and husband don't mind to pay a bit for doing bigger tiles, but they charging me the full price for it. Contractor still yaya with me saying HDB can't do anything and truth enough this officer told me she can't interfere the amount contractor charge me. For parquet scratches and small gap, no choice, we have to accept, cos we have to ask our own reno contractor to sand it at a cost of est $600. But saw somewhere from this forum we can pester HDB to do it for us, but if u got crack parquet, must pester them to change it for u hor. Any of u got cracked main doors? Did u ask them to change a new door for u or just mend it only? I requested them to change a new door for me and they told me i have to wait 3 mths for the new door, ask me to accept this door and just mend it for me. Will update u guys again for my outcome.

Hi, me too . As mentioned, I got more than 60 prob tiles in living rooms, lots of stains. Contractors said will change whole living rooms tiles for me, but ask me want to change to bigger tiles 600mmx600mm at extra cost of $4k and below. I am very angry abt this issue, cos we have already paid HDB for our premium flat, he keep saying HDB gives 400mmx400mm, if i want, they can only change the smaller one for me. The issue is don't u think I shld only pay the price diff for 400mm & 600mm instead of I bear the full price of 600mm. I have complaint to HDB officer incharge of our area, she told me she cannot do anything abt the price they quote us. **** unfair for us-buyer. I will keep pestering them too. Also the inspector who joint inspect with me said u shld know the condition of this 8 yrs old flat. Hi Haroldism, saw the picture u took on ur tiles. Did they change the tiles or use what HDB gave u 400mmx400mm? Yours seems so white compare to me leh.

I think scratches not much problem. HDB will ask u to find own contractor to sand and refurnish it which cost about $600 (my mum's place did it recently). Mine also got such prob, If parquet got hollow, think they can't do anything bah, could be flooring not even tat causes this prob. Heard they can't dig on just 1 parquet and redo it. Mine also got gaps, so wait for HDB to tell me what they going to do for us. I submitted my defects yesterday, officer called back in the afternoon and said he will arrnage inspector to liase with me, hopefully this sat he can meet me to do joint inspection too...

Hi, check for gaps between parquets and also those all corners to make sure skirting cover over parquets. I think skirting shld be holllow. I will complaint to HDB on the black color tones and see what they can do.
