Hi u refering to the dining table? I was quoted at 1,999RM, transport at 250 RM + 7% GST. But if you buy above a certain amount, then transport its free... Yup u are rite.. thats the one I went, but their website not very informative though..

Hi, Headed down to JB today and did some shopping ard JB area. Visited a few furniture shops, notably (1) Rustica (2) Lorenzo (3) Miva (4) Raywillis and some smaller neighbourhood like shops... Anyone has any experience with furnitures hunting in Malaysia to share? Thinking of getting those furnitures at Miva cos saw some really nice ones.. Anyone bought from there before? Care to share? He ask me go down Hafary to choose the tiles then they will liase with Hafary to get the tiles delivered and laid, but I got to pay for the tiles first.. Hopefully he din smoke me..

Hmm dropping by Hafary tomolo to see the cost of changing tiles.. Tired of getting HDB to settle the tiles.. pek chek man... No more premium flat in my whole life next time..

Haha orhhkk.. btw today went to check my floor tiles.. think the patchy patchy (dunno stains or really design of the tiles) floor tiles is irritating.. decided to drop by Hafary and check out the price of the tiles.. Most prob getting it changed.. but got to top up money.. yawnz.. Anyone wrote in to HDB to complain abt this before? Missysg, when can drop by for house viewing?

You are one lucky gal.. Mine looks horrible.. u can see see if you want to, maybe some are ur tiles? Im getting them to change all the tiles, but chances are low but still.. til they change.. Im doing the PD door for kitchen, but not up yet.. is it the same?

Ya man, understood that.. so turning a blind eye to most of the things.. Now i only want to rectify the floor tiles thats all and I can start my reno... Pray hard...

Today talked to Ah Seng, apparently varnishing + lacquer for 3 rooms = $300 dollar. They outsourcing to another contractor for the varnishing.. and they using the smaller machine, not the bigger one cos the parquet pretty thin liao. Think my defect rectification almost done, left a few small small items.. <close 2 eyes on the parquet skirting liao> But one big problem! My living room tiles all different tones, sibeh jialat.. ask Ah Seng whether can change all, he say tiles come in diff batched and color slightly different so no diff.. He say the new tiles will become same color as the old one when time passes... Faintz... Also got some stains on some tiles, but he says its the tiles design.. anyone encounter these problems? Everything can close eyes, this one cannot close...too obvious liao. Any higher in charge I can talk to just in case he dun want to change the tiles? Though Ah Seng is nice, but haiz.. still cant close eyes! Cant wait to start reno man... Wow, seems like 989A mates outnumbered the rest

Hmm.. think i will check with Ah Seng tomolo if I get to see him. Anyway they had rectify my defects.. pretty fast, but got a 2 main problems.. 1) The floor tiles in living room - all different tones! super obvious... and some still have stains that cannot be removed... 2) Parquet skirting in bedrooms not properly done.. Hopefully can get them to re do the tilings.. anyone has problems with the different floor tiles color? Can get them to change all the floor tiles?

Think its by machine.. $300 for 3 rooms leh. Thats wut Ah Seng said.. haha sounds cheap too.. Anyway, how come everybody is installing the 25litre storage heater? Tot normally we can just use the small small box that is install on the wall can already? A bit confused..

( lower than wut they quote me last time) Btw, met the contractor Ah seng today when i went to check.. pretty frenly and nice.. Ask him whether can revarnish the bedroom, he quote me ~~ $300.. Cheaper than wut my ID quote me. maybe want to get them to help me revarnish instead.. save 60 bucks. I might be going down either sat or sunday. Monday or tues also can cos Im on leave! =) Can PM me your msn or number then we can arrange to meet and discuss?

Went down to check today.. realised BSC pple has changed my hollow tiles and replace my parquet skirting with tiles... But apparently they din change some of the hollow tiles that was indicated previously, but its near the window in the living room.. so dunno whether I want them to change them again.. any advice? Btw, anyone change skirting to tiles? they din change the skirting in the bed rooms, only living room and the passageway.. thats normal right?

Icic.. me squeezing my budget so trying to save money on the feature wall and do wall paper instead...
