The returns advertised are actual returns for some projects. There are also tax invovled in the returns, the actual returns after tax is slightly lower. Alittle something to share, i asked my FSM about some "basic" fengshui things we all usually mention. He told me many thing we used to believe may not be true and also must base on your ba zi. Like for my house, he specifically said stove place facing what direction more important then the window part of it. So my stove is facing windows and like in your layout too. Sink also L shaped due to space constraint. He just say sink and stove cannot face each other at 90 degree no problem at all. I think just spend the money if you want to have a piece of mind rather than guess guess around, we have to know when we buy a condo or HDB, alot of things are already no choice.

Din know ID can do up a whole house for 8-9K only. So far lowest package including flooring i saw was 11k, and with really basic works without wardrobe and maybe minimal ceiling works.

Anyone had quotes from 2 sides before? How are the quote in terms of comparison? So far i only talked to IDs and the only "recommended" contractor is Ho Bee amongst the many threads. Personally i dun mind having someone designing but if the price is gonna make quite a significant difference, i rather design my own home. My flat is a new standard 4rm, so i am looking at doing all the wetworks and max, 3 sets of capentery works. In terms of design wise dun think i wanna something too elaborate, but need some basic hacking. In general, i got quote ranging around 17-18k for the below 1. All wetworks 2. 10 ft wardrobe 3. 20 ft Kitchen Cabinet 4. 5 ft feature with Tv console 5. Flooring based on $2.80/sqf 6. Kit Cabinet with solid surface 7. Shower screen at master bedroom 8. paint works I dunno how much would a contractor quote for this. Call Ho Bee, and the guy is overseas now so will not be getting any quotes from him during this few days anyway.
