I'm new here, and would need advise on the below quote. I'm not too sure what my contractor quoted is reasonable, as we were quoted different price during site visit vs actual quote? The different is about 4K , is this normal?
CARPENTRY WORKS:
Re: Install laminated finished swing door cupboard with door panel abs trimming.
Internal cupboard white pvc plywood board. Build in height 8ft.
Re: All sink, mixer, cooker hob, hood, accessories fitting will be provide by owner.
01) Install top 8.5ft and bottom 6ft one roll only kitchen cabinet. $1,920/-
02) Install bottom cupboard 5.5ft one roll only. $1,080/-
03) Install solid surface kitchen work top. Length 6ft and 5.5ft. $1,020/-
04) Construct 50mm thick kitchen floor cupboard base and fridge tiling base. $650/-

15) Supply labour only to install 1 number storage water heater at bathroom. $250/-
16) Supply labour only to install kitchen sink tap and upvc drainage pipe. $160/-
17) Supply labour, tools to install bathroom wall accessories fitting. $190/-
Painting works;
18) To paint whole ceiling ICI maxilite emulsion white. All walls pentalite emulsion finished. $1,200/-
Included metal door frame and store/CD door gloss paint.
Re: To paint over existing timber door gloss paint finished. 2nos. Bedroom door.
2nos. toilet door and 2 leave main door. Prices $290/-
ELECTRICAL WORKS;
Re: All lights, fan will be provide by owner. Any gang or socket alteration will be charge extra.
19) Supply labour to install ceiling fan with existing light point shift. $220/-
