  1. Actually OC didnt really overcharge me a lot. With my limited budget i've gotten my place nicely done up. Not bad No choice, what paid cannot be unpaid. Me and my wifey love the curtains a lot, though it's a but overpriced...
  2. Shouldn't use plastic sheet to cover the table top la, spoil the look. You might want to get some windows film, similiar to car's solar film and DIY yourself, That way it almost look invisible Hmm.. Shop8 charges me $1800 for these items, I think it's kind of expensive too 1) Living room, day and night curtain - day curtain similiar to yours on the pic but only silver color, from both side 2) Total dark out roman blind for MBR, 2 pcs 3) normal roller blind for BR 2 and 3. Should be able to get better bargin elsewhere.
  3. Very impresive 3D work. I got my home done up by Ornage cube and is 100percent completed. Overall quite please though they are a bit overpriced. Mind sharing your total quote for the reno?
  4. Yup, my wifey likes that a lot. initally i'm worried that it might attract fingerprints but turn out it's quite easy to clean off. hey, your curtain looks very much like mine. I got it thru OC recommendation from a guy call Frankie. I didn't do anything to it. save $$ no choice
  5. That is acutally a build in trashbin i bought from Poh joo. The interesting part is there's an water outlet at the bottom so we can wash it down with water

I'm using them. Serivice so far so good. I'm currently doing my carpentary, my kitchen cabinets laminate got lots of bend mark on it when we on the lights and see the reflection. I'll see how they gonna retify this for me... Carpentary work is so so only but design is good. Will update further as my house is not completed yet... might have to retify here and there.. Rgds
  8. I encounter BAD service from them. We asked for a Class 0 totaline material, BUT on the day of the installation, the workers bought along Class 1 material, which is the cheaper ones. Called the Salesman who wrote on the invoice as CLASS O and he try to give all sort of excuses, in the end, after I treaten to take them to CASE, he agreed to give me the CLASS 0 totaline as per invoice. GUESS WHAT... As the worker did not bring along the right material (CLASS 0), we were advised to make another appointment date to install the piping. THAT means 2 weeks for the 1st time, and now another 2 weeks of wait because of HIS MISTAKE that the wrong material was bought..TOTAL of 4 weeks to do up the PIPING.... give me the reason that all the schedule are packed... GUYS, you might want to be there during the installation date to make sure that they don’t cheat on you on the material...be it on purpose or not...which unfortunately happens to me... HAI, this kind of customer service really cannot make it...

  12. Do a gymson board/false wall behind the actual wall to hide/conceal all the cables. Then get wall mouted DVD as follows : - You wont even have to get TV console/IKEA rack to put the players.
  13. oh your TV console wall paper looks nice.
  14. I intend to wall mount BOTH my LCD TV and DVD player in my MBR false wall to save some space as I dont intend to have any TV console. So far I think only Philips offer wall mount DVD Player. Anyone used it before ? I like to know if it is user friendly.. DVP6620 Hmm... Nice and slim ya, performance wise I don't expect much...
  15. Sorry to hear that... Have a speedy recovery
  16. The tall cabinit beside the WM I'll ask my ID to have a compartment to hide my bamboo sticks for hanging clothes, washer power, etc etc.. Nice By the way, do you have some picture to share also? I like to see how your layout is like More picture are on the way.

  18. This is my floor plan, Hate the bomb shelter location as it is separating the living and dining. It's a new 5 Rm premium flat. HDB is talking a bit too long to clear up the defects. The LG fridge I got it at $810.00 Kong tai I just Extend out from the toilet to make into WIW.. See my floor plan... Guys, Some more pictures from my ID.. This is how my living room will look like.. 21. We gotten our keys sometime in Dec.. Now that HDB had touched up the defects etc, we are all ready to go ahead with our renovation... These are the things we bought from Kong Tai.. 420 liter LG fridge Model : GR-M562YLY Love the large capacity of 420Liters nett and the nice design, the only downside of this Fridge is that it is HUGE in gross capacity. It's a waste of our precious kitchen's space. Model : WFT90B35EDT I have been using LG washer at my mum's home for the past 5 years or so... So far no problem with it, we decided to go ahead and get one of these top loader LG washer for our new home. I'm so used to throwing in worn clothes, eliminating the need for a big laundry bag
  22. I've recently got my Air con serviced by Emetech Engineering Services, contact Mr. Edward, at 94515353. as recommended by the forumer here. Very very thorough chemical wash. I'd recommend them as well. Good job well done
  23. Guys, I found a nice simple DVD player where you can wall mount to a gymson board/wall mount. This will eliminate the need to have a build in console in the MBR taking up space and waste $$ to do it. Very nice solution I like to share
  24. The best way is to do up a simple false wall to conceal the cable.. Any other ideas? anyone?
