Hi peeps...........thank you for all your kind support and comments that my reno is going Fast and Furious Unfortunately...........my renovation has met with a speed bump......... Seems there is some misunderstanding between my ID and my carpenter............a classic case of i think, you thought, nobody confirm.........den both also execute order........den both order sala........den point finger at each other.............. Luckily the carpenter as you all know is on my relative-in-law, so i talk to him and found out what is going on and thankfully things is moving again.......... Right am still left with some minor carpentry work, touchup of painting den can do Chemical Wash liao YEAH!!! Settled my curtains @ Jimmy Textiles and i guess that's it............once carpentry is done...........time to call in the furniture, appliances, curtains..............and TADA!!!!! Stay tuned for more pictures.............ya ya i know i long time never put liao heehee

Defects should be all rectified before your renovation starts.........else when your reno starts and your defects rectification is still on going.......something breaks or is damage.............they will play the pointing finger game.......... You can take a look @ my thread with reference to my MBR toilet vanity top den u know what i mean liao. And yes......you got to follow up, call them to chase them until the cows come home before BSC will do their job............sigh..............BSC ah BSC........... Good thing that they are starting on your tiling.........well............haha so u got your complaint template to HDB ready ma? so all u need to do is send to them after checking............ Thinking about it and knowing BSC reputation.......y not just send now anyway? For my Utilities bill, so far been charged like a few dollars nia leh..............minue the initial deposit lor.

i confim it is tempered glass......i try to get a pic if i can because if it was just normal glass...........can u imagine if it get hit...........and shatter...........and rains glass shards downstairs? Better still.......check with BCA.

DIning was about 280 i think.....but the living room lights does not come with renote control cause i opted out of that one. At the same time.........am on reservist for the next 2 wks so eh.......replies might be slow ah heehee

well i went to chelsea today and i realised there is no better or worst shop reason being the service is both on par however, the pricing varies for different light E.g. Light A @ Chelsea is @ $350 but @ DK is $250 Light B @ Chelsea is @ $220 but GK is $280 So also very hard to compare unless u so on to take down each individual design and compare both shops and take from both shops......... But Chelsea has more choices though

it's $36 for the 1st light and $6 for every subsequent one

Hey bro, all in all i got 13 lights and it's about $1200 and installation is free.............! Cause i install myself heehee Ex ma? i didn't check out Chelsea cause DK got good recommendation from Singpaore Brides and here also

Went to DK lighting yesterday and got my lights liao Pricing wise is pretty good and not pushy at all. At the same time, seems like the uncle over there said that for E-ballast it saves eletricity.......however it is not suitable if you are switching on and off the lights all the time.......else the lifespan will be greatly reduced. Prob u can switch on and after about 30 mins den switch off. Dunno true or not Oh well..........this are the lights i've got For my dining hall.......but am taking the straightline version..means the lamps will be arranged in a straight line instead of a circle This is my living hall light........good thing is that it has yellow light and white light which can be controlled individually.......but am taking the clear glass version so it'll be brighter for the yellow light This is my lights for my bedrooms - 1 white light and 1 yellow And for my masterbedrooms - both also yellow For my toilets - white please............else very hard to see Plus my kitchen lights which am just taking some normal hamburger lights but also white Generally for my place, the living area and dining area will be yellow colour to bring a cosy feel........as for more of the "business" areas......like kitchen...will be white....... But who knows.........next time change colour and see how the feeling of the house goes

that is the problem i think many of us face which we dunno if the contractors or anyone who is going the house will leave an "mines" behind which erupts in the future....... But if dun feedback and complain, things also delay...........if feedback later got problem also sians........ so the best is to take photos to document the works............ But hor......u never open utilities accout, eh still got water and eletricity?

10 mins work yet it was delayed for like how long 2 mths? Sigh...........sometimes i really wonder if BSC is purposely dragging works to show that they are working...... btw any word on the window handles will come in? For more den a month?! wah!! very very long! Too much too much!!!

!! Wanna see magic people? Rememeber i needed to re-locate the washing machine water inlet? And all was left was the stub, pimple on the wall if u wanna call it that too? Well, the hacked furthur into the wall, crimped and welded it shut. A close up of the completed product And now it is a nice nice wall. Well.....my concerns was if the weld can really tahan how long.....problem is i asked around and that is the best way to do it liao........else.........hacking out more tiles, removing the whole pipe and putting the tiles back............i think.............lots of hacking and re-tiling involved........ That tranlates to more cost and time spent..........
