i called city gas yesterday noon. they said extension of the gas pipe to where yr stove is can only be done by them (citygas itself) as they are the ONLY licensed people to do it. amoyz ~ hope u managed to find yr way k.... weixiabao ~ understand that our key collection can be delay till Feb next year. Probably u wanna submit yr pay slip again in Jan or Feb and let them re-assess. If not ask the officer in charge what other better solution they can offer. Getting a flat in sg is no longer so easy. if u going to give out JW flat, means u going to forgo the deposit plus we be losing one gd neighbour liao. sob.

o so can do it at the HDB...but anyway i already fill up the application form and fax to SP le. Just rcvd an sms from them saying that my electricity and water will be activated on the 17 Dec as what i had request. Then they said got to arrange with city gas to turn on gas pipe. so when i call up city gas they said before install the kitchen cabinet then call them to do the activation and extend the gas pipe. I was abit blur lei..extension of gas pipe not done by ID one? is by Citigas? $80 for extending the gas pipe to where yr stove is. I tot is all handle by the ID. LOLX. I told them what if i using induction cooker which dun use gas at all..she said like that dun have to turn on.

For the activation of utilities, dunno can do it at HDB anot. But i just print out the application for opening a SP account from the website and fax the signed copy to them. For ADT right, u can look for Leah at 98185810

I have decided to move the dining area downwards from its current layout. Which meant the dining area will be on the right hand side when u open the door. ADT is cfm better than CISCO. Subscription is the same.

Pricing ok lei) D) Sofa & coffee table (sofa i prefer Pickle & Rail, coffee table ermmm nothing in particular as long as cheap and nice lolx. ) E) Hood and hob (take alook at franke, teka, meyer ba. i got friend who can help to get some discount as these are her suppliers and she knows the bosses. hi saw the quotation that the ID had quoted u. i m not expert la but just giving u some info of what i know lor. item 16 - are they giving u the hydronic disk rack? will suggest u to check on the quality of the cabinet drawer. such as the roller of the drawer.. Item 17 - where is yr bomb shelter? a must? cos is not cheap for fabricate wall so if minus out will save abit. item 18-22 : a must for tv console? they only give u external in laminate finish wor. dun think the console that they quote u is cheap. must consider where they plan to place yr tv. mount yr tv onto the console will hide away yr ugly cable but there is always a cheaper way to do it. dun need to pay 700+ for the tv console. i suppose they quoted u more than 700 for the tv console. there are ready made full height tv console in the market which is cheaper and provide u the flexibility in moving yr console ard. bedroom side head..i no comment. cos depend on individual. for me i will sub to contractor. cheaper. side table can get nice ready made one. cheaper cost. if one suspended, contractor will be cheaper. item 29 -if u need seat and mirror etc then ok lor. if u just need to a full heigh show cabinet alone. is cheaper. i was quotted $800 for a 4ft full height shoe cabinet. item 35 - better to ask them for solid top hw much per ft and cabinet is how much per ft. i source for a few quotation and conclusion is that solid top is ard the price of 75-85 per ft. granite is 110 the cheapest. laminated is 30plus to 40plus. dunno how they run yr electrical. but is x lor. got to see the design they give u and see if there is any way to reduce the cost anot. just my pt of view. by the way, mind to reveal the quote is by which id firm/ u got to tell yr contractor what material and colour tone u want. is best that u ask for yr id view first like the tone, materials, measurement, blah blah blah. cos u got to ensure that the overall result blend in to yr theme. yoz spotkev~One of the ID firm which i had approached also suggest almost the similar thing as u mention above. hack room to make master room bigger. hack wall betwn dining and kitchen to create dry and well. lolx. also the range of 25k. lolx i got one quote which cost 9k like that. include aircon.

yoz everyone ~ me gotten the appointment letter from hdb le. will be collecting my key on the 17th Dec morning. hehehe... went to a few IDs and most likely i will settle my reno with Square room or i-bridge. So far Squareroom pricing is attractive and the ID who handle our enquiries really take good care of our pocket. Square room comes with a system 3 unit free in their basic package which cost less than 9k. the items inside their basic package are those that i really need. of cos their 9k does not include the wardrobe la. but ok la..cos my wardrobe i m considering closet design. sqaure quotated me approximately 1600 for the wardrobe. i-bridge basic package are more or less similar to square room but no free air con. Find that they not really very flexible in certain thing lei. but i m rather impressed with their kitchen cabinet quality...their kitchen cabinet quality seems better. however their solid top extra feet run are rather x. if anyone of u need the quote for reference. let me know. i got a few la...just let me know then i email u all lor. hello weixiaobao! ya actually i also rather worried abt break in. i m considering of installing ADT. maybe u can consider that too. ADT alarm will be activated based on their sensors. (not sure normally how many sensor they include in their package. ) u can put one of the sensor at the door and the other sensor u can place at area which you consder "high risk area" like kitchen window since yrs is low floor. i rem the monthly subsciption is like $20+ or $30 plus. cisco system if i not wrong are more x.
