Then i saw it in sg also..imgaine how much sg is selling for the same table lamp? $40plus lor. Is the same lamp lor except it is wrap up nicely and display at a nice airconditioner place whereby the lamp i brought in bkk is placed in those night market lor. and i think thats the only thing i can explain the price diff. lolx

tell u all something wor i feel so sad and worried now. sigh. after spinball told me he saw some tiny tiny little insects on the wall and dunno if is white ants, i got so worried that i last min take urgent leave and went to check it out with my bf. Guess what...is really white ants lor. all the plaquet flooring got alot of hollow and nt to mention the side skirting. all my living room and kitchen flooring no problem. Only stained in the tiles joint. (small portion) But my bedrooms and bathroom flooring really disaster! furthermore got white ants. HOW? !! I got install lights lor so i can see clearly and cfm these little tiny insect i saw on my wall is really white ants lor. The timber skirting was very badly done. I heard that if the flooring in a particular room the defect is more than a certain percentage, hdb will then change the whole things for u. Is it true? Aiya i really feel very sianz talking abt the defects which i had found in my hse. Really dunno what to do. The skirting for my bedrooms passage way and living room got alot of hollow sounds and some of it got crack lines lor. But that one i still ok cos i am doing platform for my living room and will change the whole skirting for living and bedrm passage way so is ok. but the bedrooms if hdb dun wanna change for me then how? lewkw~ yr unit opp mine so yr layout also same with my layout right? Making a small little hole for passing the foods over from the kitchen was my first initial ideas but later i drop the idea due to the cost of hacking the small little wall to make a hole and change the whole design. cknooyin ~ ya the sofa very nice hor. is from massimmo. i m going dwn this weekend to test test e sofa. Ya fabric is good as u can wash it. but certain fabric sofa is nt easy to put the cover back to the sofa. But fabric sofa quite nice lor. Go see massimmo got nice fabric sofa anot then let u all know. aforahma ~ leather easier to clean lor. can use the remover for leather to clean away pen ink etc. but as what lewkw mentioned in his post that for leather one, if the leather is wrap tightly, and a small hole is accidentally punch, the hole would expand.i also worried lor. But leather sofa got to buy full leather one right? cos PU leather will be hot right?

spinball ~ gt to determin what btu u getting ba.means choosing e right aircon combination.at first we dun wan inverter. need a system 4 cos living rm needs one. den looking in the long run or during party or what..i might need to on two bedrms and a living at one go.assuming some guest in the living rm and some guests in the second bedroom playing mahjong etc. so system 4 non inverter nt able to cope in this situtation. so the other alternative is i can opt for 2 compressor. one for the 3 bedrm and one for living the pricing add up still cheaper than inverter however bcos that day i went all best they got the toshiba system 4 promo..so based on my situation, getting two compressor and a toshiba system 4 inverter under promo price is only $500 different so thats y i settle with the inverter one. i looking on the long run lor and cases whereby got alot of guests they still able to feel comfortable. if yr living is longish then normally they will tends to focus more on the tv area rather than dining this is what the salesman told me. but still got to depend on the living rm btu lor plus where u place it cos i know if the trunking is super long means cooling dwn the living rm take a longer time cos got to travel a longer distance ma. (nt sure if u get what i mean haha) cknooyin ~ aiya grp discount but doit and i already brought ours liao lei. sob

hi lewkw ~ attached is my floorplan. http://img171.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img001ge3.jpg spinball ~ inverter does save yr electricity bill if yr usage is high. if at one time u will only on one of yr aircon and living rm is not installing...then non inverter is gd enough. overall gt to depend on yr usage, yr btu able to handle how many rooms cos gt to think of long run when u gt kids. u looking for system 3 or 4? ckoonyin ~ ya there are mixed review on all best. i just crossed my fingers hoping that the installation will be fine. u can drop by there when u free to see see look look ask ask before u decide. no harm. most importantly u must be comfortable and have faith in them that they will be able to provide u the best. to me i always go with my feel.

hi all just trying to share some of the info i came to know frm my bf friend who is working in a lighting shop. he mentioned that halogen light is just like our spot lights in the olden days. very hot if u going to place it abv the area of yr tv area. cool white is just like some of u had mention like ntuc light lor but this friend here said is much more practical. (haha but i dun like it) for downlight warm white brightness got to depend on the sizes of yr downlight, the case cover of the downlight, watts and the brand of the bulb. the smallest size of the downlight only consist of 1 bulb and usually nt "bright" enough for yellow light. if the design of the downlight cover/casing is abit fosted then more worse. the next sizing for the the downlight consists of two bulbs which is brighter. of cos if u choose the design of the downlight casing to be clear one will be just nice and normally for this u will then dun need so many downlights le. i suppose shld be correct ba since alot of my friend house got alot of downlights and halogen light in the end they find it too bright and hot. the brand of the bulb which they said is good one will be osram. marce ~ i agree with u that the spiral like tornado bulb is really bright. after the trip to my friend shop, i then realise actually lights are super cheap one lor.what we normally see outside the lighting shop, a simple round light might need to cost us $70 or so..actually the cost is much lower. imagine my friend can give us more than 50% off the list price!

the price is unbelievable. the nw flat pricing is already so high le...dun think they will be able to sell off their flat higher than what they paying now lor. just hope that those buyers espcially the younger one..to think thru carefully before buying it.

yo lewkw ~ ya the salesman told me that the compresspor unit is 100% made in japan tats y u see they got stick the decal indicating made in japan while other toshiba compressor does not have this decal stick on them.the salesman told me sg very strict one if nt made from japan sure they cannot anyhow stick one.i think think le..sounds quite true also but dunno if is real la. the fan coil which is the unit is cfm not japan.cant rem the salesman said where liao. think the price quoted was ok quite attractive lor.plus they straight away give u 1/2' insulation. but got mixed review on allbest. some of them comment that installation was not properly done etc. but so far my experience with the salesperson was fantastic. so i just cross my fingers hoping the installation will not be a disaster. hey ur unit 665 means yr unit is directly opp mine lor. but yrs 8th flr la.

hi ckoonyin ~ ya lor later i change my mind.cos break dwn liao nt cheap ma.so dun wan la.u are right for kitchen cabinet is like 85 and top 75. but the top 75 is for cresto solid top! so got to think carefully lor. cabinet is laminated lor and the price is ok. wow u got 140 defects wor...thats alot hor. i haven go check on my defect. will be doing it this week. will update u the nos. of defect. lolx for sharp i really no comment cos nv use this brand before.can go do some research lor then if u comfortable and budget ok then shld be fine.most importantly u must be able to click and feel comfortable with the salesperson who attend to u.

hello ~ just wanna share. i just brought my aircon from All Best at IMM. The salesperson who attended to me explain the pros and cons for an inverter and non inverter. He based on my daily usage and suggest the aircon combination for me. the package is already nett with no hidden cost. All copper, insulation and drainage piping specification are really good. Class 1 for insualtion with 1/2inch thickness. Copper is using 23 and horizontal 16mm drainage pipe. In the end, i brought the toshiba i-smart syste, 4 (inverter). Their t&c looks friendly and payment is split into 3 stages so u dun have to pay everything in one go. yoz ckooyin~ ya check with him le ya the price is ok cos i am doing the leather laminate cabinet. cos i saw my friend leather laminiate cabinet so i wanna go that also. sa**ie quoted me similiar pricing for this leather laminated cabinet too. he till now also din follow up with me thats y i dun wan lor.
