DLIM, think your ID or contractor will pass a list of window grills designs for you to select.... hehe.. for me... no shop lor... just decide on the design then my gf's dad will call the window grill boss (lady boss) come and measure and make.... Got very furious with BSC and its contractor today. Received a last minute call from BSC asking us to be present at our house so that its window contractor can come up and replace our window. Ok.... no choice, since both me and my gf are working, I asked my parents to go to my house at 12.30pm, as requested by BSC. Guess what, my parents waited for 1 hour and still no sight of that window contractor. So I called up to BSC and asked them when will the window contractor come? He told me he will call him and check and says that the contractor will be there soon. Fine, my parents waited for another 2 hour and called the BSC again, now that BSC guy still got the guts to LIE to my parents saying that the window contractor went up but see that the door is locked. Come on.... my mum and dad are there from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.... with door wide open!! The BSC guy passed the mobile number of the window contractors and tell us to liaise with them ourselves.... What kind of service and attitude both the BSC and contractor is giving!?? Make my parents waited for 3 hours there and still dare to lie to us that we are not present at our house.... somemore if they give me the contractor mobile number to us at very first place.... then I can check myself where is the contractor..... I really got enough of them.... called the contractor.... and says that he will come to our house to replace the window from 1pm to 3pm.... which mean got to wait for another 2 hours again..... will definitely scold him up side down 2morrow.... Anyway, will lodge a formal complain to HDB senior management against the BSC and its contractor...

A quick update.... not much activities for this week.... only Aircon unit and Window grills installed on Wednesday.... still have no news when my carpentry will start.... Anyway, took some photo on my window grills at yesterday night .... forget to post it up here.... The design looks ok to me... not very complicated wor.... I think so.... Bedrooms window grills.... Master bedroom.... Master bedroom small window..... Living room....

haha.. okok... managed to snap some photos of my Daikin System 3 Aircon unit today at 9pm plus... haha.. finally installation for aircon unit is completed liao.... here it goes..... my aircon unit in dark dark rooms... still dun have proper lightings... so photo looks abit dark.... Master bedroom...... Guest room... Haha.. silly me... forget to take the aircon unit for my bedroom 3..... No worries.... hehe.. will take 2morrow....

Last time my Dad went to one or two of the shops there for ceiling fan with lights.... price is abit high.... he managed to see the same model and brand ceiling fan with lights selling much lesser... think about $100 cheaper in IMM (never expect shops in IMM can sell cheaper)..... Best to shop around first..... get the design of the lightings you wanted.... then shop around and compare prices....

Wow... haha... err... u really do alot of things wor.... personally, I think $23K might not be too expensive wor.... For me... my carpentry alone will cost me $11K liao.... cos like u.... we are doing alot of carpentry works... Haha... not yet add in other renovation cost...... Our final renovation cost may hit $20K to $25K exclude furniture and lightings and electrical appliances..... haha... agreed! no choice also lor....

Carpentry Works... carpentry uncle came to make final measurement on Sunday.... hope he can start work soon.... pls.... 2. Toilet Fittings... Saw our toilet paper holders liao in my HHS... not fix yet.... hmm... still got some more fittings to be bought.... 3. Aircon unit installation.... Aircon uncle will come and install the Aircon unit on Wednesday... hehe.. will take photo tomorrow... 4. Lightings Installation.... Selected our simple lightings.... hmm... but confirmed liao.... stock for our downlights will come only end of march.... haiz.... no choice lor... got to wait.... 5. Windows Grill Installation.... Measurement done.... so still waiting... Ok lah... that's it.... will try to take some photos tomorrow....

hmm... icic... no choice lor... think Daikin Aircon is on the higher end side....even for non-inverter.... so need to pay more $$$
