  1. why the people so "bu zi dong" one...... haha finally got something to look forward to!
  2. Finally fixed on a handover date! 29 Nov! Gotta plan for cleaning and delivery of our stuff liao!
  3. haha thanks! actually I don't find it very pretty leh like normal flat lor lolol. use as showroom means I need to wait some time before we can plan to have our furniture delivered (cos don't want strangers to sit on my sofa etc lolol although I think most people wont do that also lah....)
  4. Day 50 (no picture update) Last Saturday, went to our unit to clean a bit cos the fridge and washing machine were going to be delivered.. at least the area there need to be clean so bo bian we had to clean.. lol.. the whole house reno is completed. ID requested us to lend him till end Nov as showroom so we also don't know when can we move in, cos I want my curtains to be up before arranging the furniture delivery. Must ask for discount la!! cos he using my unit as showroom is affecting my move-in.. lol Had managed to contact Vincent who had many positive reviews on this forum and he responded really fast. Took measurements etc and said that it would be ready by end Nov. Quite good so far! No pictures cos nothing else changed.. except that the kithen's glass door and common toilet's shower screen up. that's all for now!
  5. Yah lor.... but the staff did tell me it's normal la.. I tried the sink and it doesn't leak so that's the most important.. hehe..
  6. Thanks ya!! Now I feel more re-assured haha! But it's definitely going to be difficult to clean x.x
  7. Day 36 Seems like more or less done.. left with the glass in common toilet and kitchen glass door. And painting touch up again... I have a question though, I remembered seeing one T-blog with a similar issue - is this gap for the cooker hood acceptable? It's gonna be difficult to clean right? :x The other issues raised earlier were more or less fixed. The "empty" switch - fixed a light at the original light point cos cannot re-direct the electrical wiring liao. My photos all very blurred so no photos haha! The connecting joint between the tiles & bedrooms' vinyl cannot be put cos it would be too high, and the door would not be able to close. Have to live with it, although the joining part between the tiles and MBR vinyl is a little ugly... sigh... Finally settled my curtains! After searching high and low, finally got Vincent's contact through a fellow forummer and contacted him. Messaged him last week & he called back shortly after, fixed an appointment last Saturday (5 Nov 2016). Took measurements, decided on material and agreed on price. He said it would be ready for installation by end Nov, which the chemical washing have to be done by then, cos he would directly hang the curtains liao. No issues with us though.
  8. Hehe okie pls let me know again, thanks! Haha yes we initially wanted KDK too but chose another due to design and price lol! Your carpentry looks pretty fine! And I love your kitchen back splash~~
  9. Havent seen the unit but I don't think so cos he said the gap is too small, if do, need to change door -.-
  10. Haha nowadays the floor plan quite standard.. Just that mine, the household shelter is in the kitchen. Your windows look bigger than mine though! PM you my ID..
  11. Mine initially had the joining between the tiles and vinyl.. But now cannot put, the ID said it's too high, if put will block the door. Sigh. I would expect the ID, being the professional, to foresee this and let us know in advance lor.. Cos the joining between the tiles & MBR vinyl is quite ugly to me
  12. My blanco sink's exterior sides had little ugly "crack lines" that aren't actually cracks.. donno if you know what I mean.. care to share if it's the same for yours? Btw your fans look great! What brand/model is it?
  13. Hehe thanks ah... btw how's the rectification works? to your satisfaction?
  14. seems like your reno journey is coming to an end soon.. congrats ah.. you can graduate from here soon.. hahah!
  15. Quick update as of Day 31 Anyway, pertaining to my previous comments, the ID had fixed it but we haven't gone to check (very busy with wedding stuff). The TV wall laminate issues - will change the laminate. The MBR wardrobe laminate issue - the switch will cover so no problem. Slanted cabinet door in kitchen will be fixed. The empty switch **** room - will fix a light at the original lighting point cos now cannot connect to the downlight liao but no additional charge, just that we have to buy another light. Think that's about it. Till this weekend then I go see then can update again.....
  16. YESSSS!! I would! In fact mine got smalllll scratch I also tell him lol!
  17. Hi we've checked with Hoe Kee and they said that it's normal thus we'll be keeping it (also cos nothing we can do right hahaha). Anyway carpentry got warranty right lol..
  18. ID said it's normal, cos they encountered before. Will still call Hoe Kee but I wonder how to tell them without showing picture leh..
  19. Hi, I'm using Nippon Paint. For living room & MBR - smoky (light grey) and dauphin grey (the darker grey). BR 2 - I cannot find the name, the code number should be 5065. BR 3 - peach silk (but looks more pink than what I would have preferred - wanted a really light pink but this was recommended by ID cos he said the colour nicer). HTHs!
  20. Help!! Just saw this at the bottom of my sink! Apparently all sides have!!! Is this normal?! Anyone with Blanco Silgranit sinks can advise me please?
  21. If only I'd seen your T-blog earlier! Now that my reno is coming to a close I don't think I would bother to change anything in the near future (lazy) so gotta wait a while already... haha! Thanks for sharing!! I appreciate in envy~~~
  22. Thanks! Just saw your PM & replied! You so early start browsing forum hehe
  23. Thanks for your reply! I quite like the current look so I probably won't be so hardworking to DIY hehe
  24. Don't know if you'll see this, but could you share where did you get the laptop stand from? Ikea?
