Hi, Need an advice. Can we cancel the HDB resale after 1st appointment? We just saw that the flat has been harrassed by loan sharks. I have already paid deposit for flat, renovation, aircon and have signed the bank loan. I guess all these will be forfeited. I have asked whether has the flat been harassed previously before we bought the house but obviously we are not told the truth. I am thinking of cancelling the resale and sue the owner for damages. Hi, Do you see a need to use tiles for the Kitchen Sink Cabinet? We have a bad experience with our existing house sink. The cabinet keeps decaying because water keeps seeping into the cabinet. It is likely because we are currently using a cheap type of Laminate top. We forgot to ask our ID/contractor during our initial quotation. Now my ID/contractor told me that in order to put tiles below the kitchen sink, we have to build concrete wall. And he mentioned that it costs more than 1k. Is this expensive? He also mentioned that since we are using solid top and with undermount sink, there is no risk of water seeping in. Is that a correct statement? Thank you. Regards

I have just purchased an EA which is 150sq m. I intend to re-do all the tiles, kitchen, toilet, wardrobesand window grilles. The quotation that I got is between $50k to $62K. I am still trying to source for a cheaper quote or reduce the scope of work as it is over my budget.
