Yesterday my hubby and I went back to Harvey Norman(HN) Jurong Point to get out electrical appliances. We got to know that HN has this lock-in policy where we place a deposit of like $50 but we choose to deliver the items nearing end of August. We were told by the sales person that if we lock it in now we secure the deals during its promotion period. Thus, we lock in out Hitachi fridge ($799) free vacuum/rice cooker, LG washing machine 10kg ($840), Dyson vacuum (still contemplating) ($599) and Samsung smart microwave oven ($350) The good thing about the lock in thingy is that even after we lock in out items and we had a change of heart we can change it on other items. We also managed to have a friendly sales person whom managed to give us a better price (nett) *its really pay off to be friendly to them *wink . Their Europace 4 system cost $4k plus which my hubby n I thought we can find it cheaper at other places. We were offered a complete Techno hop and hood, 3 placing stove (tempered glass) and oven at $1346. Do you think it's a great deal? The auntie was so nice keep giving us discount here and there. We also bought a 49' UHD Samsung curve tv at $1689 not incl bracket from Courts
