Your contractor will marked them accordingly so that the entire layout will be uniform. That will cost addition $1 ~ $2 psf. Quite diffcult to tell you what to look for , very much depends on your preference.

Hi, is your stove facing west direction? If yes, is a good placement. Try to put your sink facing the direction where your main door is facing. That should be a good position.

Based on KUA is not sufficient. Need to look at your bazi to define the element of you and your wife. Living room if for male while kitchen is for wife. Where the main door face will decide the main elements of the entire hse and need match the occupants' element. I would suggest you find a gd FSM for advice.

hi daa, If i am not wrong, you already hack the wall and trying to seal up with a partition with a door. Need to check with HDB to see you can go that with juz a partition. Assume you already gotten the approval, the partition can be made from compressed wood, cheaper. For a 3 ft, it cost about $400 ~ $500, depends on the thickness.
