The electricity comsumption is high for plasma, esp 40inch & above. if want plasma go for panasonic Go for better resolution and contrast ratio, they have significant diff for 40inch & above. Any thing less than 40inch, can go with simple spec.

Can you afford to wait in May. Will have another PC show that definitely give u a good discount. I bought my Full HD Samsung N series 40inch at PC show for $2300 nett with installation. Heavy bargain with the salesman at the last day. Today tis model cost > $3.4k if no roadshow. Go for Samsung as the LCD technology is more advanced and price ok.

yes, u need. Think Starhub got cable promotion that comes with the set-up box Get Samsung 40 LCD -- N or M series. Think F series comes with set-up box.

U need a HD set-up box in order to enjoy a full HD even u subsribe to cable. It costs about $250 ~ $300. You also need a blue -ray or HD DVD player to get a full HD effect but u may not able to watch pirated DVD. But Full HD has a better resolution and contrast ratio as compared to HD ready. Size also plays a part. For 26 to 37 inch, HD ready is good enough For > 37inch, go for full HD if you have the budget.

I plan to make some adjustable type. Can install and remove without any hassle.

Peter appoached me when i was around our TP void deck. Well, he showed me quite a few units that he claimed renovated by him. I was impressed then at the way he managed so many units by himself. I went to his office at TP JTC park to discuss the reno details. The office was pretty big but no one were there as it was quite late. He told me about his reno background and how big his business was - he boasted he owned 7 reno companies but I never heard before. He named some IDs that he trained and setup their own firms. Of course I kept nodding my head to show my respect and belief. He did not tell me why ended working by himself. 2 weeks later when i was at hub to collect my key. I happened to pick a leaflet A&D firm, the whole package & porfolio were exactly the same as Peter's. I asked myself why 2 different companies using the same address. I called the other boss and he told me Peter juz rent his office for use only. He said Peter used the office for about 2 yrs. Basically all the units he used to reno at TP area were not his projects. After this call, I started to doubt his honesty. Btw, have to be careful in engaging contractors that approach u at void deck. They can run away with your deposit or go bankrupt in the middle of reno. Cheap doesn't mean good. Better play safe. That's my advice to all.

Hi, are you referring to Peter, the Adxxxxx Design? If yes, be careful. He makes use of another company and claims he owns it. In fact, he juz rent an office from them. Check his background, he only started his own < 2yrs only. Those TP units at 1xx that he claimed reno by him if fact were not. He making use of another company name to advertise himself.
