There's actually a dateline given by HDB to collect the keys. The last day of the dateline happens to be exactly 6 months from the date which Renopooh booked the flat (for example, booked on 15th Aug '07, dateline is on 15th Feb '08). So guess yours shouldn't be too far away, right?

Hi, yah these are for renopooh's balcony. There won't be any windows, it'll be left in it's original state, perhaps only with a new coat of paint. The tables & chairs are bought from a mega supermarket, name spelt with capital "G".

Yah, it was a pity. Renopooh saw the 1st ad only on the following Monday & didn't think it would repeat again for the subsequent weekend. Renopooh keeping paws crossed now hoping that the sale would repeat again this weekend.

Hi, thanks for ya advice. Yah, renopooh is trying to coordinate own reno as interior design already fixed. Even painting gonna do it ourselves. So now just need to buy paints & engage a contractor to heck wall & do some re-wiring. Any recommendations?

Renopooh agrees with what's written in the book & wanna have a "A well tidied house with lots of storage". In fact, renopooh is not intending to engage any ID. Just hecking of one wall & some rewiring needs to be done. The whole gang will come down to help with painting. Hope won't disappoint those who are looking for major overhaul kinda reno. Renopooh will also try to apply what was learnt in Renotalk, hopefully to get best value with limited hunny, er... money.

Don't be sad... Renopooh had waited patiently for 5 months for the keys & didn't make a noise to HDB. You should be receiving your notice soon, go check your mailbox! Renopooh is just staying 2 blocks away from you & having the same floorplan.

Renopooh hopes the new house will have lots of storage (for pots of honey) and to hide the mess. Over the past 5 months while waiting for keys, Renopooh wasn't able to sit still & was tempted (like bears to honey) to hunt for stuff for the new house. Renopooh hunted the following so far: 1) King-sized bed (with mattress) for MBR 2) 3 lights (for balcony, living room & foyer) 3) Sofa for living room 4) 32" LCD TV for MBR 5) Coffee-table Except for the TV, the rest of the items will be delivered/installed only after renovation completes. The hunt continues...

Renopooh hopes to see photos of your renovated house too. How you tackle the unique 2 entrances to kitchen?

Halo neighbour, where's your unit & your blog? Renopooh is looking forward to seeing neighbour's new house too. Well, at least you still end up with a nice pad to call home. How's ya "Plan for Project B" coming along?

Renopooh's idea is all of the 4 listed plus anymore that he can think of because the main point is to make the space flexible for all purpose listed.

As for MBR, Renopooh's plan is to heck off the connecting wall to the studyroom so that both rooms combine into one big space. The study room will become MBR & the original MBR will become multipurpose room (with study, entertainment & WIW combined into one).

Hi, welcome Resident spammers. Skywolf, Renopooh's plan for balcony is to keep it as it is as Renopooh have came up with various uses for this precious space: 1) balcony cafe (with 2 aluminium chairs & 1 round aluminium coffee table like those you see in al-fresco cafes) for times when Christopher come over for breakfast or tea-time 2) for BBQ pit when the gang (Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Piglet, Ee-or, Kanga & Roo) comes over for gathering 3) to hang landry when the Sun doesn't shine as brightly in the service balcony 4) to line the balcony with pots of flowering plants
