I do not know many lighting shops. But I do know 1 that you shouldn't even consider! Lighting Centre! Their lights has got problems here and there... you would need to go back exchange many times! That's my experience with their lights....

i used them for about 3 years... didn't notice much wear and tear. The feature that i like best about Ikea kitchen, guess is their drawers, very smooth when opening/closing. I had the birch wood laminate. Looks bright and elegant in my small kitchen.

Quite true... I think a table that matches your decor, is sturdy, is of good quality would be good enough. If the price is right for your wallet is even better! i just bought a glass table from ebay which is an XZQT piece, $600. Then i got 4 dining chairs from Gnee hong $160. Cheap and nice. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I wanted to get the Magis Puppy from X-Tra... but... their service is really bad! I called them to reserve the Puppy and told them i would collect it at their Vivo City outlet in the evening, but when i reached there, they have already closed, at 6PM! There was a notice that says they went for their Christmas dinner! I thought they should have the courtesy to tell me they will be closed at that time! BUT NO! I went there all the way from Thomson, my fren drove me... wasted trip, wasted effort (fighting the traffic jam due to Christmas crowd), wasted petrol! I have met so many service staff with poor service since getting my new place... I really think that Singapore should improve on the service sector... look at Japan! Look at Taiwan! Really very disappointed

Very sad... Evov promised to come redo the sofa, but they didn't. They simply forgot!! They will be coming in Jan... really have to keep my fingers crossed!

I used to have Ikea kitchen. That time (about 10 years back) they have standard measurements for the cabinets, don't know what it's like now. Quality wise, i personally think they are ok, workmanship is ok too. Guess their accessories are quite useful, such as the wire baskets and so on. But then again, there are many similar ones in the market now.

Good news! The guys are coming to my place to redo the sofa... hope it will return to its beautiful state! Apart from the sofa issue, Evov is actually quite a nice place to get furniture. The sales person is quite friendly and i got a nice coffee table from them with a reasonable price! Not becos they agree to help me with the sofa problem that i praised them, their furniture are really good... Oh ya! I got a rug from them also... those who are looking for nice rugs can get from them, they are selling at half price now!

i got my evov sofa! but there's a sad story to tell... The delivery men couldn't get the sofa into the lift, so they dismantle one of the arms! And to my horror, they simply use stapler to staple back the piece of cloth that covers the bottom of the sofa! The stapling was horrific... sooooo ugly! I tot they should have the courtesy to inform me whether they can dismantle the arm and staple it back. Cos i have paid for it, and i have the right to tell them to carry the sofa up the stairs! Now my sofa's bottom is so ugly! To think that i paid thousand plus for this kind of workmanship! I am in the process of waiting for Evov to send their experienced sofa maker to rectify the problem. Even though the damage is at the bottom, but whenever i think about it, my heart sinks and ache...

i guess Mondi is alright, cos i dun really like their design, and the sofas are too soft for my liking. Pricing also too steep. Think Evov got better looking and quality sofas. Just my opinion.
