Hi, Can someone let me know who I can contact to repair the "latch" on the HDB metal gate ? The one that you pull to hold your gate to the floor? Mine is broken and trying to see if this can be repaired. The same mechanism on my HDB main door as well...Thanks in advance.

Ha Ha....Look like you are not the only one... Previously when I stayed in HDB, we had the same problem. But now we stay in Condo, we still face the same problem. Alot of time, I myself not even sure if I should blame them or it is really due to the design of the structure My current place is not just one elephant, they are a few. Usually start from 10pm right till 1am......

Hi Master Chong, Could you plse advise if it is ok to place say half height or full height mirror at position "A" (Dinning Area) in the floor plan? I heard that it is not adviseable to have mirror facing the windows. We have decided to hack and level up the balcony so it is kind of directly facing the living hall window. Kindly advise. If I bought a 5-RM HDB flat which is $20K above valuation and I'm taking a bank loan, how much cash do I have to pay at FIRST APPOINTMENT ? On the HDB web, it says that if the cash is more than 5% of the sale transaction, buyer need to pay within 10 days fm the 1st appointment date. Does that mean that I will need to pay $20K within 10 days from 1st HDB appointment? When do I have to pay the 5% cash? Can someone advise? Any other "cash" need to be paid on 1st appointment?
