(top cabinet normally is 300mm deep, xtend e portion near e duct 450mm or 600mm) Internally, provide opening, externally, cabinet door. -- eg2. cut short e length of top cabinet. Dis wil look wierd. Can coverup e access panel with backing pcs which is detachable in case need 2 open up e access panel. But there mus hav working space for maintenance between e acces panel & e nearest top cabinet.

Lok at Mrs_Png's, hers is thicker. Dat is 'alum frame sliding wardrobe c/w frosted glass or mirror'. Price range frm ID is abt $260->$300 per foot run. Check ur agreement, mayb wat u'd agreed on was 'sliding wardrobe with laminate finished', priced at $240pfr. - Nice talkin 2 u 2. - Y all e neighbours who r nicer & can chit chat 1 all stay far far away frm my unit. - Y all e not so nice neighbours & canot chit chat 1 all stay so near 2 my unit. i'l go kpo ur unit dis sat lunch time, if i got e time. (hope i hav not 4got ur unit no.) pix pix more more i noe u wldnt like 2 read dis, i est it gona take at least another mth 4 u 2 b able 2 move in pts 2 take note -> - existing flat gota b disposed within 6 mths. - SERS owners gota return hdb e existing flat within 4 mths. - if had applied reno permit due 2 hacking, once 4mths time frame is up, gota apply 2 xtend. - by rite, watever reno gota b completed within a specific timeframe. If it canot b done due 2 un4seen circumstances, e ID/contractor gota compensate e 'owner' = 'u'. - urs is merely a simple reno 4 new hdb std flat, mayb u wana highly 2 ur ID. - if ur ID cant complete e reno 4 a new hdb flat & handover within e stipulated timeframe, dat wil decrease their credibilty. TenZ, - remember u asked mi abt ur ID co quite sometime ago? - i wanted 2 tel u get another ID co, but u had oleady signed with them, so i din wana comment further. - there bound 2 hav changes in design concept durng e process of consulting, its a matter of shortening e time. - how? i guess ur ID din really click with u. Or rather, more communication is needed. Aniway, - glossy laminate finish for carpentry tends to hav wavy effect, after sometime. - it olso gota depends on e quality of laminates & e workmanship. - every surface of every material in e hse wil b subject 2 wear & tear & scratches. - better quality laminates wil hav lower tendency of warpin & scratches. (ask ur ID) - better quality laminates hav an extra 'protective layer', which makes e surface more resistance 2 scratches. - there r olso few new products which r scratch resistance, tested & certified. (ask ur ID) Aniway, - sevices duct dat houses watever sanitary soil & waste discharge stack, is for esthetic purposes etc. - there is a access panel at interval levs, not all unit hav it. - dis access panel is for maintenance purpose in case... - chances of opening dis access panel, very slim. - by rite, all access panels in e unit r not 2b obstructed. - by left, ... - imagine e worse scenerio, e access panel need 2b open up due 2 watever reason, wat wil happen 2 ur built-in kitchen cabinet? - e risk is there. Hey, here's another sidetrack -> extracted from here Laminated flooring - Synthetic wood flooring with laminated wood like appearance on the tops. Joined by either a 'tongue and groove' system or the uniclic system. The new designs are recyclable, as it will not be adhere to the ground using glue. Strengths - Relatively high in scratch resistance. - Compared to real wood flooring, it is cheaper in cost. - Wide variety in brands and colour of grains. - Easy to install and requires no 'drying' time unlike tiles. - Easy to remove as there is no glue involved. - Easy to maintain. - Ideal for country design homes. - Ideal for bedrooms or raised platform/flooring. - Creates a 'warm' feeling. - No hacking is needed as laminated flooring may be laid over existing tiles. Only the skirting needs to be hacked. Weaknesses - Sensation under frost is synthetic. - May only mop with 'dry-mop'. Water residue may leave watermark. - Not ideal for large surface area as it may look cheap and synthetic. - Too much monotony in the grain and patterns of the laminated flooring. - Discoloration may occur in flooring if exposed under extreme sunlight.

mirror feature wall, basically there r 2 types -> - mirror feature with wood backing - mirror feature without wood backing. As e 79 walls r kinda flat, e 1st option is cheaper. - without false ceiling or L-box, e effective headrm is 2550mm = 8.5ft - with false ceiling or L-box, e effective headrm is 2400mm = 8ft Assuming a mirror feature with a length of 2100mm = 7ft, with false ceiling, selling price frm ID $15psf Cost for installin e mirror feature = (7' x 8') x $15psf = $840 Also gota take note e joints & edges.
