I've read some bad experiences online that say that their clothes will get 'dampish' if it's open concept wardrobe. I think if the distance between the wardrobe and the toilet is far away enough, and if you keep the toilet door closed, should be ok. Probably best to put some Hungry Hippo or coal in case!

Are the shelves fixed? Maybe you could ask your contractor to drill those screws at the side that let the shelves be adjustable?
