Was not in a hurry and I managed to take my time to look for a good ID !
Properties i look for in an ID:
1) Good quote: As my title suggests, we have a tight budget and my ID was able to give me a very good price (IMPT!).
2) Responsive/Contactable: Ben is highly responsive in calls and msgs. If he's busy, he will reply asap and keep me in the loop. Very important as he was able to provide us lots of help when selecting of furniture etc.
3) Good workmanship: I have visited a unit that Ben did, the workmanship was good. He will tell us things to look out for.
4) Understand what we want: Scandinavian concept but being practical at the same time
5) Recommendations of good retailers: Ben had many contacts of aircon, lightings, toiletries, curtain

I highly recommend 9 Design Pte Ltd, ID Ben (9724 9683). Ben used to work at a highly established firm but ventured out on his own. His quote was very reasonable in comparison to the many IDs/contractors that I have contacted. His service was good and he is always ready to suggest solutions and ideas!
