Common Toilet - Toilet pipe burst when trying to flush the toilet bowl.. Main Door - Obvious crack on the door. Masterbed Room - Different floor tonality (But I think I shall close one eye for this) Searching for defects still in progress.........

Same here, I haven't submit my rom cert too. HDB give 3 months time to submit, but I think if you can give other valid reasons, they can extend the days.

I just came back from viewing the flat. Tsk tsk, I found 2 major defects.. The toilet flushing pipe(I don't the correct term) leaked when I tried to open it for flushing the toilet. Secondly, the main door has got 1 big crack! Gotta ask my friend(which is also my ID) to inspect the house tommorow.

For me, I am using the simplest way. I know nothing about opening the door for the first time but that's what my friend taught me. Hee... I am bring a pineapple, 5 apples, 5 oranges, if possible a 'huat kway' and salt. The salt is to sprinkle around the corner of the house. For the pineapple, roll them to the living room from the entrance. The 5 apples stand for 'ping ping an an' in chinese, 5 oranges is 'xin xiang si chen', the huat kway is for fortune or wealth. Just place them in the middle of the living room. I think it pretty easy to get all these. Hope its help.

My HLE has not been approve yet too, I tried calling the officer, but her line is alway engaged OR ringing forever. I haven't got any notification for key yet leh. Hihi I agreed with you, Sengkang more ulu. Maybe I am used to staying west area, that why I find Sengkang side not accesible and I alway get lost over there. As most of my friends stayed around that area, we don't mind getting flat at Juring West. korea, are you staying somewhere blk 680+ that side where there is a coffee shop, facing boon lay? Lol, I used alway point to the fence up area flat as 'ghost' town as it alway very dark. Never did I thought I will get that area now. I just pass by 2 days ago, it not fence already and I saw light in some of the flats.

Don't be discourage. Try to look for other units? !! Try not to choose those facing the temple. When is your selection date? Hope that we'll be in the same neighbourhood.
