Hi, am requesting for a quote to hacking and tiling of 2 toilets in the house. (The toilets in the upper floor of HDB massionette - Master bedroom and also common toilet). Maisonnette is a 148sqm. No floor plan, as dont know how to access. Main reason for hacking and tiling is because house is 24 years old. And ceiling in the lower floor of the house is starting to leak. Thus, thinking of doing it one shot. Please give a quote, and include all extras or anything like that. Wish to reuse the WC, cause they are quite new. But, need to redo the waterproofing membrane. According to HDB procedures. And, also dont want to redo reno in toilets anytime soon. Regards

I bought my repossesed masionette from hdb in april's balloting at 278k. Mine at gombak. 5 mins from MRT. 6th floor. Some of my neighbours keep asking me how much i bought, then when i tell them, they look so pissed off. Especially feel for this neighbour who bought theirs at the open market for 380k. Same floor and same time of purchase. But, the only thing i don't like is that the neighbours keep to themselves most of the time. Previously, at my mum's house, the neighbours always come over for chit-chat.

mine... rtm 1, channel newsasia, tcs 8 is very clear. tcs 5 and suria is fuzzy, kids central is chialat. Whose fault is it? Is it the hdb antenna or scv box?

still looking for storage space. Saw that most of you, your storage area is under the staircase. Any feedback on this kind of store area? And how much to do them?

when i did the rewiring for my house (20 yr old EM), i realise that the old wires were much thicker than the present one.... the electrician told me that the wire used was of very highquaity and can still be used without problems.. Well, the advantage of rewiring is that u can choose the number of lighting points, arrange the single or double sockets in your preference places, and also locate the sockets about 30cm from your floor, which makes it nicer without lots of hanging cables for your electrical appliances.

hi peeps... new owner of 20 yr old masionette at bukit gombak... anyone has good lobang for carpenter who can convert the space under the stairs into a store? Any suggestions? Moving in soon... reno done up... 14k total... didn't do much.... only did kitchen, balcony (wall and floor tiles), full house rewiring, painting, some cornice and small false ceiling, and changed all the toilets' assesories... put up curtains with wooden railings for 1.5k... now realise that the house has no place for storage... my mum wants me to use the utility room as a small room with a single bed and small wardrobe.... so either me or my wife's parents can use.... (no need to go up nd down staircase.)
