Hi all, anyone got the PHILLIPS HTS8100/59 Soundbar? was deciding between this and the Pioneer HTZ363. Im not a sound fussy guy(no offence) jus a decent HTS will do. But jus wanna hear from folks tat got it and the reviews. Shortlisted this and the 363 bcos i dun like too many tallboys or speakers so the soundbar fits my category well.

Fr my understanding, poh joo..asia marketing all those will give abt 11-12% off. Correct me if im wrong.

I dunno leh, but i went twice and got the same treatment, chatted wif them and got 1 liner and talk without looking at u. My wife and i r so fed up. Did u chat to the "specky" ?

The Teka 60cm one is for flat pan, if u r those type tat uses wok, think cannot use cos wok has a round butt. I oso aiming for this one but tats wat pulled me bk lor. Teka was having 20% store wide abt a month bk. Grab my Hood and oven there.

hahaha... For $2150 i get 40" FULL HD LCD, 1920X1080, 3 HDMI ver 1.3 slots(2 rear 1 side), 15,000:1 contrast ratio, super clear panel,slick design, within my budget, so i jus went for it.

If u can tahan the STUCK UP face of the LUSH sales guys, by all means get from them. If im not wrong OM dun sell replica designer chairs.

Hi all, Went to visit EVOV lately and found their sofa is within budget and prices negotiable. The lady there was attentive and answered all my questions. But b4 i go ahead wif the purchase, jus wanna see any views fr those who have bgt fr them b4. All kind reviews will be deeply appreciated !! Another pointer, i have been to this furniture store L**H at upper paya lebar rd. Service was terrible and the guy there was super snoobish.. buay tahan.. got tat u can afford or not face Answer yr questions without looking at u.. wat kind of service is tat ? If he is the boss, i got nothing to say but if he is jus working there, i dun see the any reason for a sales guy to have tat F up attitude ! i mean WTF man!!.. Before i went in, there was this ang moh who is leaving with some stuff he bgt and they r so courteous. Maybe he bgt something la but dun tell me they r oso some kind of ang moh A#S licker ??

I made a 360 degree turn of choice and bgt a SAMSUNG LCD M8 40"... hahah...

Hi, Care to share which store gave u tat price... if tats the case its better to go for the M8.

I nvr did ask abt the M8, but i was quoted $1999 for the 40" N8 so im quite tempted... But does it really come with the auto Wall mount as stated in the brochure where u can tilt the the angle of the TV wif a remote. IF it does then it really is cool and worth it ! The pioneer system does have a Built in DTS/Dolby Digital/Dolby Pro Logic II Decoders in the specs. Is tat wat u r refering to ? Audition on my HT system??? hahah my ang moh not very powerful leh.

Thanks Vicenzo for the advise and comments. 1) My DVD player fr the link below has HDMI output but it says in the specs its oni output for 1080I HDTV meaning i cant use it on a FULL HDTV like the Samsung N8 im planning to get ? IF im getting the Pioneer HTZ 363 most prob i will be mounting it all ard the TV ?? cos the HTZ 363 comes with stylish surround sound speakers to deliver powerful sound with the convenience of 3-spot front surround set-up which allows you to place the rear speakers neatly on the top of the front speakers yet still enjoy full scale surround sound.

Thanks AHJane, i like the ideal very much too, but im jus worried abt the wiring of the appliances will pose a problem for this design or not? The cable is hidden along the false ceiling to the cabinet as u can see. No direct sunlight shining to the wall so i dun think its a problem. Thnks for the concern

I was quoted $1850 too... good deal.But the Pana was originally $2399 but i think wif the $500 voucher still worth the buy but wat im afraid this is the old model, where as the Hitachi is the new one wth better features and full HD too ? correct me if im wrong

Hi ppl need some advise pls, My ID came out wif this design of putting all my DVD player ,starhub box and HT to the side of my living room as a console CUM storage cabinet so as to free up the space infrt of my TV cos i gonna stay in a 3 roomer. Im wondering how the wiring of the tv to the side of the living room can be done?? i might need a very long HDMI cable which will cost me a arm & leg ? or is there another alternative ? Im intending to get either the Hitachi P42A01A or panasonic TH-42PV70H plasma tv and the Pioneer 363 HT set as im not so fussy over sound quality. I have attached a 3D layout of my LR if u guys dun understand wat i mean. The Tall cabinet by the window next to the red sofa is the so called TV console CUM Storage. So any good suggestions fr u kind folks out there?? Thanks in advance for all kind suggestions

Hey Commando, im looking at the same model too...im deciding between this model and panasonic TH-42PV70H... promo for this is till 31th MAr where u will get $500 Shell Or Taka vouchers i think... quite worth it if u r driving and the prices of petrol kep going up.

Hi everyone, i was told by my ID that plastering of ceiling is so called "not approved" or in the grey area by HDB ? But she say can oso do la but not advisable cos in time the plaster will peel off? any comments ?

Hi all gurus, I have some questions and i hope to get some advise fr all the gurus here. Im getting my keys soon and i have some questions regarding Dates. Im jus following basic FS not into detail. 1) Open Door Date (any advise on how and where to get it ?) 2) Tong Tu = Date for start of reno? Wat are the rituals and things needed for this step? 3) Move in Date ? Wat are the rituals and things needed for this step? jus went for my appointment at Freespace.Overall first impression was 8/10.... listen to all my wants and will be drafting a layout and a 3D of his idea for my flat and together wif a quotation.... Will be reporting again... Cant wait to see his designs though..
