Day ONE

started off with a budget of 30k and then since most ID that I spoke to had to burst the budget, i lowered it to 20k just to be safe. impossible? actually nope, since im only doing up the whole flat but basic simple renovations. the theme is industrial since I could get away with the raw outlook and still look chic. surprisingly most ID was able to keep within the 20k++ budget. after getting more than 20 quotes, i met up with around 10 IDs before deciding on THE one. the flat was optioned in late September 2015 and I've already asked for quotes the next day. it would be better to have more time to do research since im doing this by myself. what are my critical requests -black conduits for wiring -black kitchen -black toilet hahaha no, im not gothic. went to the crate and barrel warehouse sale and got the 1mx1m coffee table (thinking of selling it off since it is too big for the flat) and the media console. items got delivered on 2nd Feb 2016, since it has expired it's storage period. the tourney coffee table (impulsive buy, too pretty but too big for a 3 room flat. tourney media console, small

the flat has been vacant for few months, at least since Aug 2015. it was rented out previously so previous owner did some minor renovations to the kitchen and installed aircon to both bedrooms. beyond the frozen themed palette, i believe that this apartment have so much potential. let me share what the flat looks like before reno.

hello, renovation will complete by end of March and i guess it's my turn to share my journey and experiences on getting my own abode. it's a 3NG flat at Bukit Batok, an old apartment built in 1984. this is the 1st flat that i viewed and no other apartment was on par. it's a low rise block on top of a small mount (barely a hill) and im on the 2nd floor. due to the uneven terrain, my window faces the 5th level on the adjacent block. so let me share my floor plan. got my keys on 16 feb, reno starts on 29 feb.

Err?? ur reno just started a week ago on 25th March, a day after you got your keys? but it's today is only 23rd March.. i dont get your timeline.
