I'd always open up the windows for air ventilation. You can always hang your towel on a hanger and hang it onto the window grills. If your toilet is being shadowed by neighbouring units & smell of damp - I would recommend wiping down the walls after showering or installing a air vent. Dampness in the toilet may cause black mold. Must be careful.

From what I heard from one of my relatives who got scolded because she went to scatter salt when her house is actually very "huat". So must check with masters or ask god (tang ki) if need to do any of that. If not huat become un-huat
