Yup. Really see alot of WRXs on the road. Somemore, they came out with the auto models. I had friends changing from auto saloon cars to the automatic WRX. I was kind of surprised that EvoX is not as $$$ as we were told.. Before we got the 9, we were told that 10 will be much more higher priced than the 9s.. Was debating to get the 9 or the 10.. Settled for the 9 because we thought that 10 is abit tad big & long for a rally car. It looks abit like the old Galant leh.. U mean RX7 is coming back? That's a super chio car! But the FC can also kill leh.. Not much on the road now.. I never been to the kopitiam.. Just parked there to wait for friends.. You can hardly find any seats man! Always full of the insurance and property executives.. Btw, I still don't know what you driving now, Mr Compassvale..

Whoa.. It doesn't sound so good right? I had heard from my mum that for FS wise, it's not good for a kitchen door to face the main door directly.. Hee. Think, you can post this entry under the FS thread. My ex-colleague also had this problem. She was on budget and she just got a divider.. Maybe you can construct a wall? Read somewhere in this forum that it's not good to place your shoe cabinet facing the entrance door too..

It's not difficult, it's totally impossible!! Especially if the person you love is sleeping beside you everyday.. And for a whole of 3 years! I really don't know what to think.. !!

Other than checking out my flat, I also went shopping with my boy. We finally got our lightings and all the necessary items for our bathrooms and kitchen. Some pictures of our purchases. This is going to be in our dining room. My boy loves it to bits!! It cost us $470 for it. It comes with blue LEDs, and LEDs that gives out warm light. It can be switched to either blue or warm lights, or 2 together!! Did not take any pictures of other lights cause we were rushing for time. Total damage for lightings - $1200. False ceiling lights not included. This will be our rain-shower for our MBR bathroom. The basin for our common toilet. A normal looking tap to go with the common toilet's basin. Our stove. Kitchen sink from Teka. Slim fit design for our hood. Very sleek looking tap for the kitchen. 2 WC for our MBR's bathroom and common toilet. The brand of our WC. Cost us a freaking $280 each!! Some other add-hoc accessories for our bathroom and toilet. Total damage : $2800. No basin needed for our MBR as we are using the moulded table top. Will get the tap for it later.. Still need to get a shower unit for the common toilet. Debating on whether to get a rain-shower or normal water heater for it. We shall decide after buying other needed items. Burst our budget already!! Till date, had already spent 20K+- on the furnishings and applicances. Reno cost is about 45k-50k.. If we go on shopping for the house, I think I will need to eat bread for the next 3 months.. More pictures will be up soon..

Took leave on Friday to check out my flat for progress. The hacking are cleared and they had started with laying the tiles in the bathrooms. Just 1 complain. They forgot to hack away the old cornices.. Got to make a trip down again this weekend to make sure that the cornices are gone for good.. This time, I remembered my camera!! Took loads of pictures. It's the study room on the right. But we are using it as dining room instead. Dining room. The ugly cornices will go too.. This my cosy corner. Will be building a platform here. Up-close shot of my cosy corner. See the grey re-construct wall? It is supposed to be the door of common room 1, but we sealed it up for more privacy. Took this shot while standing in my cosy corner. The door on the left leads to the kitchen, but we will be sealing it up and reopening a door at the right corner instead. In this case, there will be more space for my stove, cause it cannot face the entrance. This is supposed to the a common room 1. But due to FS, we are using it as the MBR. The original MBR will be converted to a WIW and study room. Walls are hacked down as well. The original MBR. The grey re-constructed wall was originally the door of the MBR's toilet. Sealed it up and opened the door at the other end due to space constraint of my shower area. This part of the room will also be transformed into our study room. The right side of the original MBR. This part will be used for our WIW. See the opening on the left? It is supposed to the storeroom but the previous owner hacked it to join with the MBR. We had hacked the bathroom wall and it will be a longer bathroom, consisting of wet & dry area, which will be joined with the WIW and formed an L shape. Common room 1 had been hacked to join our WIW and study room. This will be where we sleep in future. Common room 2. My mahjong room in future!! The 2 tiles I am using for both my bathrooms. This is the common toilet. Black as the main colour with grey as the highlight. This is the MBR bathroom. The same colours but layout is alternate of each other. The contrast is not big as the tiles are still dirty. Lastly, my kitchen. I am unable to take a proper picture due to the angle lar.. Can't show the whole thing.. This is how it looks when I am standing at the entrance of it. This is the right side of the kitchen. My kitchen is consider quite big.. That's what my contractor claimed. The carpentry here cost me a bomb.. I will also be having full height cabinets on the other side of the kitchen. Will take pictures of them when the carpentry is up.

Read in Evo forum that EvoX is on the roads liao. But till date, only seen the lancers but not the Evox leh.. Maybe undergoing heavy mods. Initially, my boy and I were discussing on whether to get an Evo or Rex.. Ended up settling for the Evo. My boy was complaining that there are many TS faking WRXs. Spoiled the market lar.. Of course, there are also lancers trying to achieve the Evo looks. But at least, lancers and Evos are not sharing the same chassis, whereas imprezas shared the same chassis with Rexs.. But ultimately, we are glad we made the decision to be an 'Evo beng' than a WRX boxer.. Enjoyed the ride throughly even thou the FC is killing us.. Gee. Sometimes, it's really weird to see someone in suit and tie driving rally cars.. I also told my boy that he looked like that hard core salesman doing insurance. No offence to insurance agents.. There is a kopitiam opposite Boat Quay where alot of insurance and property agents hang out. If you drive to the big carpark next to it, you can see all kind of 'tiong chias' there..

Sigh.. That's really bad huh? We see many taxi drivers on the road who drive recklessly and dangerously. Thus, we will always stay away from ALL taxis.. With a few black sheep among the Evos' and Rexs' drivers, they are labelled Ah Bengs...

Surprised to hear you saying that rugged looking people should drive Evo or Rex.. Many people had branded drivers of Evos and Rexs as Ah Bengs..

It's more impt that your wife likes their OTR gowns. If she doesn't like their OTR gowns, then you can move on to find a BS which has reasonable rates, as well as gowns that she wants..

Oooh...meaning must have $$ lar.. I will do another photoshoot if I strike 4D or Toto k? *slap slap* Can you hear now? U better make sure u regain your sight when I got my photos ar! The price seems reasonable enough. The additional 2.5K you mentioned, does that means you will get back minimum 85 shots MORE in magazine style? If that is the case, it's really worth it.. But for my case, I am more concerned with the gowns they have rather than looking at the price or other factors. Unless your package comes with MTM gowns.

Fifi, you super naughty!! I already told them liao. But they say they will try to rush it out by end of this month. Tsk tsk. All excuses. Actually, not I greedy lar. I got story one. I chose gown A for my PS and AD because it's the nearest to what I want in mind. I did not opt for MTM cause I am afraid that the gown might not turn out to be what I want. I don't think I can carry my ideas well out verbally. The other day, I went down and just happened to see their latest series of gowns. And so gum leh, on the display, they had the PERFECT gown I want. I was telling my boy about it and my BS overheard our conversation. I did not demand to change to it, of course. But the designer knew that I want something like that right from the start when I am looking for my wedding gown. Thus, they offered to let me change to it lor... The perfect colour and design leh... I simply cannot resist lar..

Wah biang.. I also want to see Air's photos. But she don't let me see till I show her mine. I also don't know what takes my BS so long to pass me my CD Rom. Btw gers, do you guys change gowns after the PS? Eg. You chose gown A & B for your PS as well as your AD. Maybe your PS and AD has a difference of a few months. In between, you see another nicer gowns and change gowns A & B to gowns X & Y for AD?

No worries lar. I'm sure they will do a great job, otherwise, they will ganna your . I had seen my initial layout and had made some changes to it too. Now, pending for the 2nd review.. I also spent more than 3k for topping up photos. It's a once-in-a-lifetime thingy. You will be beaming from head to toe when you get the photos.

Don't sound so depressed lar.. How many photos did you top up for the 2 albums? How much did you pay for it?
