Okok.. Coz your sofa is leather.. Mine is fabric.. So, no need wipe.. The most can only wash.. But on top of our sofa, we spread a blanket like material on it, so as not to dirty the sofa.. Coz my sofa is milky white.. We just need to wash that blanket.. My boy will wash the toilets while he bathe.. He will also vaccum and mop the entire house TWICE... He is a clean freak too.. At the same time, I will do dinner, after that, iron clothes while watching tv.. But also not as tiring as you leh...

We don't normally clean the house on Sat... Only Sunday.. Saturdays are for either pak tor-ing or mahjong-ing.. How come cleaning take so long meh? Even if we play mj on Sunday, we still got ample time to clean the house.. Somemore, I cook leh.. Even more time consuming.. What do you clean every week?

Cannot lar.. Go back to sleep, I will probably wake up at dinner time liao.. I still need to cook dinner leh.. Somemore, my boy 'dates' me out on Saturday.. We are supposed to go for a movie.. How can go back to sleep? Have lunch and movie outside, then must come back home to cook dinner.. Thus, don't have extra time to sleep... I will sleep in later this weekend...

Ya lor.. It normally happens to me leh..Din know others will experience the same thing.. I am weak lar.. I also don't know why.. slept early on Friday night.. About 10 plus.. Slept peacefully till 5am.. No dreams no tossing or anything.. Then I woke up at 5.07am to prepare breakfast.. Then start washing clothes at 6am.. Then nua and watch 2 vcds before leaving for town at 10.30am.. Really power.. Even Sunday also woke up pretty early.. About 10am.. So much earlier than my usual sleeping hours..

Yup.. Sometimes, it gets real early.. I had been having the runs last week.. Took medicine and ok liao.. Go see a doc and take MC to rest at home... Now, I am having a bloody headache.. The pain is killing me liao.. Buay tahan.. I think coz I woke up too early over the weekend..

I am here.. Just now went to do 'business'... Tummyache.. Think my relative coming soon..

It's true that dark colours make the house looks smaller.. Mine looked big without the tiles.. But looks more cosy with them.. Yup.. Maintenance is another factor to look at...

Ya.. Matt tiles easy to maintain.. What colour of tiles you guys intend to use? What is the colour concept of your house? *faint* Why don't dare? You better don't delay.. Later he will gives you crap like he had already got the materials or whatever, then things will turn out uglier.. Better let him know soon...

Ours are quite ok.. The contractor did according to our requests.. We also wanted them ensure that the gaps between the tiles are as small as permitted.. Too wide will look ugly.. Too near, might cause popping up of tiles.. Mop should be ok lar.. You just need to mop gently along the sides lor.. nothing much lar.. Unless, the paint you using for your walls are not aloowed to come in contact with water.. My paint of my whole whole are washable.. So, even after coming in contact with water, there should not be any issues.. Huh? Your hubby like my floor tiles? He got great taste!! We did that colour coz the tiles are laminate look-alike.. Took us some times before we manage to find something like that.. We both don't like glossy tiles coz we believe it will go out of fashion in time to come... Somemore, glossy tiles can get pretty uncomfortable if they are not squeaky clean.. Lastly, IMHO, I think matt tiles give our feet a more homey feel... If your hubby likes laminate or parquet looking flooring, he will like my tiles..

Hi Fifi!! Morning!!! No problem.. We don't use mop for mopping.. Our wall looks perfect up till now, no visible cracks or anything... But we really see more pros than cons for not having skirtings.. The only con is when you look upclose, it doesn't look as perfect as having skirting as there will be uneven gapping.. But as long as yuor contractor do a good job, the gaps should not be very visible to the eyes... What did your hubby says after seeing the pics?

Agree with you 100%... I try not to deep fry too.. But if my boy suddenly got the mood for something he wants, I just got to go along with it... Yup yup.. Home cook food are less oily and of course, MSG free.. Mine too.. But I am kind of running out of ideas of what to cook liao.. Vegetables still ok leh.. But hor, meat dishes are quite of hard.. I am currently dealing with mashed potato with minced chicken, sweet and sour chicken or pork, chicken casserole or just plain chicken dices.. Really don't know what else to cook liao.. I even look online for ideas..

You are also getting sweeter liao mah.. The fact that you are learning to cook, it shows that you are getting to be more and more like me liao, a housewife!! But you got to make sure you can go home on the dot.. Otherwise, very hard to cook leh.. Have you ever ry to cook a full meal for your hubby before?

Aiyo.. nothing to pei fu about.. I guess, my love for my boy overcomes all my urges to go shopping after work.. I really don't want him to eat outside food everyday.. Had been controlling his diet.. He likes too much fried food.. Especially KFC!! You still ok leh.. Your hubby knows how to cook.. You won't be sian after you see your hubby gulping down your dishes.. I don't like maids.. Can't trust others when comes to cleaning my house or cooknig my meals..

Thanks.. I am not like that in the past.. Before I got married, I don't even life a finger to wash a drinking cup at home.. My mum do all the laundry, do all the cleaning and washing.. But I guess, love really changes a person bah.. My boy also knows the obvious change in me.. Tell him, all he need to do is to love me more, sayang me more and of course, finish all the food I had cook for him.. It's really a satisfaction to see your loved one finishing ALL the food you cook.. Last time, he used to do the dishes after each meal.. Nowadays, I will take charge.. Wanna let him enjoy the meal totally.. His jobs in the house is just vaccum & mop.. Congrats to you on your successful green bean soup!! You should really cook more.. Yup.. Everyday.. After work, if we are not going anywhere, we will just go back home and I will start cooking by 6.15-6.30pm.. By 7.30pm, dinner will be served lor.. Feeling tired is still ok leh.. I am just worried about the costs to cook daily in time to come.. Just now I forget to mention that going to NTUC is a WEEKLY affair for us.. Meaning it can come close to 350-400 per month... Quite siong right? Of course, it includes stuffs like toilet paper, tissue, shampoo and even can opener.. Anything in the house that can be bought from NTUC... Sigh.. People cook cereal prawns is easy.. You know ar, the proper cereal prawns come with the shells untouched one right? Only need to wash and just deep fry them after coating.. But my boy is lazy to peel the shells.. End up, I need to shell and clean the prawns throughly before deep frying them.. Take super long to clean prawns lor.. Shelling is easy.. But cleaning their long long s h i t off is time consuming... My colleagues also wanna come over and eat my prawns.. You stay too far liao lar.. But actually, on weekends, if my friends are coming over for drinks at night, I will ask them to join for dinner at times too..

Quite leh.. Every trip cost me from 60-90 bucks.. Depending on what I buy.. For example, if that trip I run out of shower foam or washing powder, rice or shampoo etc, it will cost about 100 bucks.. But never over the 100 mark.. But most of the times, about 70 busk +- lor.. Yup, cook everyday is really quite siong.. Especially, I cook more than 2 dishes every time.. Initially, I wanted to cut down on the number of dishes, but my boy eat quite abit.. Every week, I will cook his favourite cereal prawns and sweet and sour chicken.. Quite standard.. But hor, now, I cook everyday, really quite tiring leh.. If future got kids, I don't dare to imagine how tired I can get..
