Maybe because of the prices of cars had dropped generally? And Fifi, you dumped in 20k for your car ar?? We only can afford 15K nia. Anymore, and we will be eating grass for a few months. Yup, there are of course good asian cars. Continential cars are heavier in general, and most of them 'jia you very dang'... We did take the price of the car into consideration, but our likes for the car took over our common sense. The main reason is because, Evo 9 is no longer in production, and we wanted to take our last shot in getting it. Looking at the current Evo 10, we decided either we get the 9, or stick to our previous car.

Jp And Photographer Recommendation Needed

Thanks Fifi. Actually, I did heard before that David Loh had retired liao. I am just trying not to be rude towards Korea. Still must say thanks to ppl for sharing information, even though it might not be very constructive. Hi Air, thanks for your recommendation, but hor, I did try to call him leh. But he rejected my request. The reason is because my AD falls very near to Chinese New Year lar. He said he got relatives coming to visit him. -
U know ar Fifi, I can't help but relate your words to a somebody.. Strongly agreed. That's why we tried our hardest to dump in whatever cash we had left in our piggy banks. But the monthly still abit on the high side leh. Ya lor. All the rich will only settle for Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Volvo etc. I don't think they can tahan the cheapo material we have for our dashboards for asian cars.

............. Why no $$ = no friend?
-
Diva, that's the monthly instalment for ur hubby's STi?
-
Yup, quite common now to bid for numbers as long as you don't pay too much. The minimum bid is 1000 bucks. Just make it stay around 1000-1500, I think it will still be quite worth it if you are bidding for a memorable number. Don't scare me leh... I need my job leh. No job = no $$
-
Maybe that number meant something special to him or his family? Sometimes, ppl also bid number because they got advice from their master on the numbers they will be lucky with. But at least he did not spend like more than 1.5k on the number plate. Unless really beautiful numbers like 8888.. I thought that might be his reason for bidding number plate cause we also bid for a number that is meaningful to us. But of course, we also spend the minimum. OMG!!! I am laughing out really loud. My colleague thought I am mad leh. I mean, who stares at the screen and laugh like that?

Ok, thanks. -
Ahnah, what car are you driving? Planning to get a spoiler ar? Yup.. I got PM telling me about the history of the taboo. I will use that after we move into our new flat... Hopefully, it will work for me.
-
Opps, I mean the membership is tied to his old car, which his dad is driving now. Bo hua to transfer the number plate leh. Need to pay a freaking 80 bucks leh!! Kill People Put Fire Suck Blood and Pluck Bones!!
-
He actually still hold the membership to the waxing service thingy one. But under his own car, which his daddy is driving now. Kind of no point to get another membership for his current car right? Very expensive also.. We really broke now. Somemore, after paying for the membership, still need to pay for every trip. Very bo hua. Save $$, DIY!!!!
-
Oohh. Talking about waxing, we tried waxing the car for the very 1st time last Saturday. Wah biang! Tiring lor!! We started washing the car at about 5.30pm, but cleared everything, including waxing by about 8pm!! My bf still suggested doing double coat man! I think I nearly use the pail to knock his head. !! After that, I told him firmly that we will only wax our baby ONCE a month. Nothing more than that. But hor, save quite abit leh. If find ppl to wax, smelly smelly also $50++. Might as well do ourselves and shed some weight.
-
I can see that coming soon. In time to come, my bf will just wash the car bi-weekly, to monthly, then bi-monthly. Just hope that he won't ask me to wash while he slack at home. Cause I do that to him sometimes.
-
I am reading them while posting replies in here. Very interesting and funny threads.. As for my hard working bf, I guess it's normal for guys to treasure their cars lar. Hmm. Some more, it's new mah. Maybe after 6 months, he will push it to petrol stations and ask bangala to wash?
-
Yup, sure!! I had posted a new thread in tying the knot about recommendations for a JP and photographer. Later, I will go and read up on the taboo thingy. !!
-
Oohh... Like that ar? Okok, I change k? How about Gucci bag? !! Opps! I am new to the forum and did know about this taboo. Paiseh paiseh..
-
Hmm, I don't help him wash EVERY single week. Alternate bah. Very tiring u know.. !! But I help out cause I don't want to see him so tired also lar. He always end up here pain there pain after washing the car. Invite disaster? What do you mean? Your hubby hates u indulging in branded stuffs ar?
-
That's a good idea, Air!! My bf and I will wash car every Sunday. Maybe I can seduce him by washing sexily and perhaps, he will be happy enuff to buy me an LV bag. !! Issit? Never mind lar. Like that, I only need to pay 5 bucks.
-
Errr.... Need $$? Got entrance charge ar?
-
Wah! I wanna go!!!!!!
-
Hi all, I am holding my wedding dinner next year in Feb. Need help in finding a nice JP. I also need to get a photographer on the actual day, from morning till night. Is there any recommendations?
-
Hi Air, Already Pmed you.
-
Full marks as in no points deducted at all? Hmm. My instructor is really nice and friendly. I got to know him when I worked in the accident reporting centre last time. But he don't teach at AMK, he teaches at BBDC leh..
-
Hi Zeny, I think you should just take it at the easier-to-pass school 1st. You can always practise after you get your lic mah. The $$ spent and the time wasted is not worth it if you fail leh. Just my point of view.
-
I also got cramps while playing with the clutch, but my instructor always scold me coz I tend to burn his clutch in the initial stage. I believe ar, if you horn right, u will also ganna deduct points one. Very grey areas lar. When you horn, they will say, ur alarming the workers for nothing. When you don't horn, they will say you never alert them safely. Really hard to understand their wants and needs hor?
