Hi all, any of the grooms out there actually drove the bridal car himself on the AD? Need advises on the pros and cons of it. Thanks.

Came across this thread today. Spent 20 mins to read through all the comments. I suddenly felt sick to the core. I had purchased a sofa set and a dining table from Red Apple 2 weeks ago at their IMM branch and was served by the sales person, Sophia. I told them I need both items by late Jan as my house had just undergo renovation last week. Will their delivery be late? Got pretty worried after reading all the experiences of everyone in here. It's another 2 more months to my delivery date. Is there anyone who can advise what I must do? I die die have to get both items in by late Jan as I will be moving in for CNY 08. There is another problem. We had FULL settled the payment for the sofa of 2K and only left 400 bucks more to pay for the dining table upon delivery. I got a bad feeling about it....

That is so untrue. I do know of living examples of children of being not fillial, and yet, the parents will still love them. To parents, their children are just like part of their lives and bodies. Do you chop away a part of your flesh if it is not perfect? You won't right? IMHO, no matter what, all parents will love their children. I don't think many people give birth for the sake of hoping their children will reciprocate their love. I used to be so rebellious back then. My mum told me this " No matter how bad or naughty you turned to, you will always be my daughter. The bond and love will never change." I felt so unjust for all the parents out there after reading what you wrote above. !!

I do agree with Assassin on what he said. It's quite true leh.. For my boy and me, a heart-to-heart talk before bedtime can be more satisfying than doing the deed. The communication somehow, becomes the main point in this case..

Yup, the photoshhot process is no doubt tiring, but it's really fun and memorable too.. Especially when we are taking the final shots at Changi Beach. Really sweet leh.. Wow, we got many similar situations leh. My AD PG & VG also confirmed liao. But haven confirm JP yet. Lucky Air gave me 1 of her contact for JP.. PS taken like u, viewing the final layout of the album next Tuesday. Will be getting the CD rom and remaining photos by then. (Air & Fifi : Don't forget to exchange photos viewing with me!! ) 1 thing, I haven got the wedding bands yet! Arghhh.. I totally forgot about it. !! We collected our keys last month end and our renovation had just started last week. Now, it's the hacking processes. With do away with all the floor and wall tiles. This Saturday, will start laying the new wall and floor tiles. As for our furniture and applicances, we had got almost everything liao. Sofa, TV, dining table, bed + mattress, fridge, washing machine etc... Only left the lightings, sinks and taps etc.. Our guest list, montage and march in songs are all NOT prepared yet. Aiyo... Typing all these out is making me very anxious suddenly...

Ya lor.. I also realized that most couples had 2 albums instead of 1... Never mind lar, next Tuesday, I will be able to see the layout of the album liao. If really too cramped, I will just change to 2 albums instead. I also got think of going overseas for my PS. But......... No $$$$!!

Your AD in March 08? Mine is in Feb 08. Hehe. I am not having any mixed feelings at all. Instead, I am very looking forward to it. My friends laughed at me saying I can't wait to be married off. How's your preparations going on? Everything settled?

Hi Bro Mace, since now that you are talking about mirrors with stoves, can I ask if there will be any effect if I used those stainless steel backing instead of wall tiles? Because, stainless steel also has reflections, but just very blurred thou. Kindly advise. Thanks.

Oohh.. I got you le.. Really learn many many after joining this forum leh.. I always let my imagination run wild when I am staying in hotels, be it in Singapore or overseas. But I thought Singapore hotels are cleaner than overseas ones?

Yup, because I got a total of about 100+ photos, thus the designer asked me whether I want 1 or 2 albums. Boy and me decided on 1 because we don't intend to keep the album in drawers. We are putting it on the rack in our cosy corner. To have 2, might look abit messy. But I forgot the size of the album liao. My mum also told me not to waste $$ on photos. She said exactly the same things as your mum!! You are right about the AD photos. Those will be really once in a lifetime shots. When is your AD?

Hee. I am really very serious about it. I very timid by nature and have an ultra wild imagination. Really appreciative that you can give me pointers about my concern. 1) I think it should not be much a problem. Just hope that my boy don't scream at me and scold me for being 'siao'. 2) How do you define stagnant air? My store room is transformed into partial WIW and toilet. Cannot open big big liao. I understand about opening windows to let sunshine in. But both my boy and I got to work on weekdays. The only time we are home is after work at about 7plus. 3) I will try. But I think I need to get ear plugs 1st. 4) I don't do evil. Unless you count in gossiping about movie stars and irritating colleagues. Anyway, many many thans Mace.

Your 1st method abit tiring to make it work leh.. And I think I will be half deaf after a 25mins bath. The last method seems more feasible. But I thought doing 'xia tor' will chase them away already? That's what my mum told me lar. Although I don't know how reliable is this method. She says must also burn incense papers then never look back after that. Does it works 100% too?

Cannot lar!!! If next time I move in my new place, 'they' off my lights while I am baking cakes or bathing, I will scream until my whole building collapses lor!! I am super timid one. And I cry super easily when I am scared. When I am alone at home, I on almost 90% of the lights in the house. The 10% refers to the balcony's lights. Mace, really no way to keep them out totally?

Hang 1001 things ar? I thought of hanging 8 gua, but I read somewhere in here that it harms the other family right? My flat is a corner unit, and there is just 1 unit next to mine, but their main door does not face my door. After their unit, it's a L turn to another unit which can't be seen from my side. Not long corridor at all...
