Misconception i guess. Traditional to let newly weds to sleep on bed on customary day coz last time dun have ROM that sorta thing ma. Then dun want to let the couple fool ard. hahaha....Actual an chuang is just a certain date and time for you to get ur bed positioned and fixed up plus the bedsheets n stuff. No need to match to the couple's "Ba Zhi". For ur customary date, does any of ur elders know how to read the almanac? If not, then u can contact my dad to help u choose. when u planning ur customary?

Hi haroldism, long time no see. When u shifting in? We also havent gone thru customary leh, but dad told us how to an chuang and we did it. Nothing much to it. Just check the chinese almanac and there will be certain dates n time to "FIX" up ur bed. But depends on whether u believe in our way of doing it. BTW my dad is a FSM, so if u need FS services, let me know

Hi ch0c0l4te, my sofa, ottoman, dining table, dining chairs, TV console and coffee table is from a package deal. Not sure about the cost of the sofa set only. The package cost us about 4k. I think they still having the promotion, its at Furniture Club (tradehub21 boon lay way). Hi greenskyiv, the wall mural isn't painted. It is a die-cut sticker. I took an idea from the internet, traced it using a design software, made some minor modifications to the design and send it out for cutting. =)

Our Living conditions - Part 1 Realised once again that we still have loads to "top up". Extra cabinets to store our documents, more electrical appliances and more murals for the many empty looking walls. Still doing research for my 3-pc DIY oil painting, don't want to messed up...hurhur... been so long since i did any actual painting super rusty liao. Official Shift-in : 06 April 2pm Hee...Internet up today. My wall mural is looking nice...wooo~~ After so many months of waiting + cleaning + sourcing + spending... FINALLY Da Gong Gao Chen! We can relax in our lovely nest and enjoy a new life ahead.

Wall mural installation will be done by my ex-colleague this weekend. An Chuang on sat and "Ru Huo" on sun. Woohoo~! Can finally stay overnight at our place~!!

After all the hard work, our ikea study furnishings are done and our curtain railings are up. DIY is hard work but its an interesting experience. heh heh...order the husband around. =p Our punctured pipe had been repaired and the gaping hole patched. Washing machine and Fridge arrived. Finally ice water~! Had 2 couples from renotalk come over when we were in a mess & look super lah tah. What an impression sia. hahaha...bu hao yi si. And a family of four asking whether there are still units left. More pictures this weekend, when the bulk of my furnitures will be delivered. Excited! Then i can plan my mural design and prepare for the shifting ceremony. Woohoo~!
