  4. hello, I haven't taken close up of mu kitchen sink, will upload another day. I bought the 32 inch kitchen sink single bowl and matched with a tap bought locally.http://12670358_10153986101123405_639961595249995487_n
  5. Cyanjachoc, The problem is the tiles that you used, i believe your tiles are porcelain, they are known to crack very easily under heavy use. not rec for stone top. should have used homogeneous tiles instead.
  6. Hi spidy, Glad u managed to get urs waived, btw u got 2 stainless steel sink?
  7. hello Benetay, Can i check if you had any problems with installing the kraus faucet? my plumber said that my waterfall faucet flexible hose for the hot & cold water below the sink cannot fit cos the size is different from local. i bought the irruption blue kraus sink and waterfall tap combo.. haiz... stressed....
  8. hello guys, Did any of you purchase the faucets from Kraus? My plumber had problem fitting it, said the flexible hose that came with the faucet the size is different.
  9. Hi changbp, Thanks for e info, btw where did u get ur track lights? I got mine from ledlightsg...
  10. Wow changbp, e water heater digital panel sure looks pretty high tech n sleek.. I'm seriously tempted to get it but my hub main concern was e warranty period for e digital.. Haiz, I alr paid for e normal 30l AOS tank for master bathroom n now have to source for instant heater for common bath. I just realised a lot of instant heaters come w e shower system n I alr bought e grohe handheld shower n mixer... Now I have to source for places that only sells instant heater without e shower system.. Real headache n more work..
  11. How fast does it take to heat up? Cos I was comparing Joven. Most ppl on renotalk forum commented Joven heats up v fast, plus they use 3.5KW power so heating it v fast, I notice aosmith is 2kw so I wonder if it will be slower? I asked e sales girl n she said was 5 to 10 min to heat up... Hmmm.... Btw u use e 40litre for both bathroom enough? How much they charge?
  12. I dunno if they included gst or not.... I ended up taking 30litre normal tank at $340 + gst cos my MIL didn't want rain shower n prefer instant heater so I will have e storage tank connected to master bath heater switch which saves me e trouble of having to go outside to switch on e heater. Hope e storage heater lasts more than 10 yrs cos they r using diamond glass
  13. by the way, i was trying to find reviews on the AOS digital water storage heater but can't seem to find any. Looks like it is still new in the market.
  14. hello changbp, I'm renovating my house too, i notice you got a AOS storage heater, how many litre did you get and is it digital? I'm not sure whether to get digital cos the price is ex, was quoted $650 for 40litre digital.
  15. does Ikea customise to fit ur kitchen? I think what changbp meant was e gas pipes or water pipes, etc. I like customised carpentry cos less thing to wipe for lazy ppl like me heheh.... Everything should be hidden in cabinets. My hub likes loose furniture n we almost had a fight over e TV console, settee beside shoe cabinet n dining settee cos I kept insisting on customising.. In e end We only agreed to buy a bench for wearing shoes, Guess e one that cleans more will have more say Anyways, I ended up buying my dining n living set from Taobao, hope it arrives in gd condition..

  17. haha ya.... so glad you went the adoption route, i always feed those strays whenever i see them, sometimes they come up to my hse on the 11th flr,lol...
  18. I didn't think of getting ikea cabinets cos e first thing that comes to mind is 'filmsy'. Just e hassle of renovating every few hrs is a headache, hahah.... I too bought my electronics b4 I got my keys. Now LG having promo so I rushed to buy their tv n fridge. Their smart TV is no1 for 2015. I got a 55inch Tv and they give 1 free 43inch TV, but that one have to self collect. I also bought Yamaha sound bar system cos I was so impressed when I heard it at courts, it felt like I was at e cinema. Electrolux also having promo for washer and dryer.
  19. Hi was following some topics on renotalk and saw ur blog. I can totally relate to ur experience, lol... I recently bought a 20 yr old 5-room resale flat in Woodlands, size around 121 sq m. The home owners were e first owners of e she so the flat has not been renovated for 20yrs. I just collected my keys more than a wk ago, and alr started hacking works. Initially I was like u, went to research and did furniture shopping, biggest mistake was putting a $100 deposit before I had even decided on my design, haiz.... I had a prerequisit when shopping for IDs, they all must have in-house carpentry cos I have a lot of carpentry works. My initial Budget was $50k, however along e way I had to raise it higher and higher and now it's $70k. All e IDs were quoting like $80k to $90k and after seeing e quote I dare not include anymore items that I wanted.. On TOP of Reno I may have to spend another $25k on soft furnishing lol.... Gonna be broke
  20. Just email them to request, no point chatting with CSO, I wasted time chatting with them 3 times and got rejected. Finally emailed and they waived off. Getting my kraus sinks tmr, heheheh....
  21. i see that you don't have window grills for your cats, won't they jump out the window? i tot of keeping one but i don't really want my house to feel like a cage with grills for cats...
