    wow with 3 banks. that's a lot! any reason why apply 3 banks? coz my colleague told me that her ID suggested they split their 20k loan into 2 smaller 15+5 I think, something to do with being able to clear one loan faster, thus better credit rating or what?

    Did you get 2 roombas for upstairs and downstairs? I love my roomba, just upgraded the older one to a 900 model. Fantastic...they need to invent one that can do stairs and walls! saw someone who factored in a "parking lot" for their roomba in their cabinets

I was going to get wooden folding doors, but my dad was saying they would get wet and rot...haiz. maybe for the heavier items, can use the standing laundry poles type? Nothing like sun-dried laundry.. I see you're enjoying doing housework in your new place..vacuuming and washing hurrhurr

    cantiknye rumah...siap in time for raya tak? heh heh... i was kinda wondering what my lighting options are if i were to install ceiling fans in the bedroom. I kinda thought we would have no choice but to use fans with lights. what kind of lights are you using in the bedroom?

    lovely home! certainly has flavour loving your - totoro cushions (from where i want lol) - cats (i want but husband say cannot) - bathroom...the combi of tiles is inspiring - have to ask about your bathroom sink counter...pros and cons of doing it like that?

    Re: metal brackets for laundry ive been losing some sleep over my laundry area also haha! I won't be closing up my balcony, and I see neighbours just using poles without brackets. The awning won't block ur laundry? also thanks for sharing where u got the fittings from

    My parents hv a built in cabinet in the common toilet. 15 years later and they r still going strong. They built a concrete support on the floor.

    So let's say I get a loan for $X at first, only to find out later (midway through reno, for instance) that I needed lesser than that, are we able to reduce our loan by that point of time?

    during a reno process...there's always a lot of hindsight ah >.< showed Andrew some pics that got him quite curious and excited. when he saw our floorplan he was also like "waaah never see before leh". Happy that he's open to new ideas, and at the same time, not ngeow with his knowledge.

    My parents had the same fridge for over 10 years, so when they did a reno, the fridge become came a point of contention because they didn't tear down all of the cabinets and had a hard time looking for a new fridge that was exactly the same size as the old one (2 door fridges were all the rage at that time). my current fridge is about 5 years old. It runs fine, is a good size and energy efficient. Wondering if its worth to keep it or pass on. Sometimes in the process of the move, things get bumped then sian lor.
