  1. Hi all Recently, i got someone to paint my room and apparently, low quality paint was being used. After it dried up, occasionally when the climate changes, it emits a chemical sorta smell and it has been about 2 months. So i learnt my lesson and I tried to solve the problem by engaging another painter to apply another coat of paint over the existing one. This time round some nippon paint was being used. Thought that would solve the problem. However, the same smell keeps coming back a few days later whenever the climate changes once in a while. I believe the new coat of paint isn't able to cover up the old coat of low grade paint. Frustrated about this problem. Any advice anyone? Should i get the last painter to apply another coat of paint? Have already spent a bit of money and I am at lost now. Would really appreciate if someone can give some tips on solving this problem.
