  3. Going through the final stage of choosing a washing machine. Can't decide which of the following 8kg washers to get: 1. Bosch WAS32791ME (Made in Germany, more features, new drum design so not really tested) 2. Electrolux EWF1495 (Made in Thailand, can't get much info) (Actually we like Miele W4446WPS a lot but its only 6kg. zzz) Please share your knowledge.
  4. Anyone bought or could comment on the following models? 1. Mitsubishi MR-S46 2. Panasonic NR-F500 3. Mitsubishi MR-V50T 4. Toshiba GR-L42 We need a fridge with net volume of at least 400L, must have stainless steel coloured door(s). As big as possible but not too wide cause our fridge base is only 815mm wide, 810mm deep, between a wall and a cabinet. Have considered Ariston and Fisher&Paykel before but decided against them cause heard European models are not suitable for Singapore's weather. I like Samsung and LG but too bad they're not friendly for small kitchens.
  5. I need recommendation for a front-load washer: 1. Budget $1500 2. 6.5 kg to 8.5 kg 3. Water saving features 4. Quiet 5. No need to have dryer features cause will be getting a separate dryer later 6. Looks nice. Preferably silver colour or stainless-steel color exterior, but optional
  6. Need recommendation for a fridge. 1. Budget $2000. 2. Family of 4 greedy adults so need a big one. Update: due to space contraints my fridge base width can only be 800mm. So need a fridge of not more than 700mm width with as much storage space as possible. 3. Must have at least 3 ticks for energy-saving label. 4. Must look nice with silver colour or stainless-steel colour exterior. 5. Prefer the exterior to be sleek and not complicated by ugly looking water-dispensor/ice-dispensor. No time to shop around and need to give my ID the dimensions liao so hope could get advice here.
  7. Help! Can't decide on which of the following combo to choose for our new house: 1. Mitsubishi Heavy System 3 Inverter (3 bedrms) + Mitsubishi Heavy System 1 Non-inverter (living) 2. Mitsubishi Heavy System 3 Inverter (3 bedrms) + Fujitsu System 1 Inverter (living) 3. Fujitsu System 3 Inverter (3 bedrms) + Fujitsu System 1 Inverter (living) According to the sales person, Mitsubishi Heavy got better air-flow (3D Air), self-cleaning features and 24hr ions release. But then its System 1 doesn't have Inverter models available yet. Fujitsu is the quietest, got Inverter models for System 1 and looks nicer. Price wise about the same. Is MH really better in terms of air flow compared to Fujitsu? Is Fujitsu much quieter compared to MH? I've heard from someone that Fujitsu leaks water easily... true?
  8. Also planning to have one wall of my bedroom decorated with graffiti art or manga stuffs... u can see from my nick i'm also a huge fan of naruto hehe... but got copyright issues?

  11. Have already selected a new flat. Recently started to read up on Feng Shui and to my horror, I realised that the main door is facing a bad direction for me. (My birth date belongs in the EAST group but the main door is facing Northeast.) Have yet to start renovation and move in. How? Any way to rescue? (Cannot give up the new flat) P.S.: I'm the first applicant for the new flat which has been jointly applied for with my parents. My father belongs in the WEST group and Northeast is suppose to be a good direction for him, but the problem is that he has already retired. I'm the main breadwinner for the family and the only one paying for the new flat. So, I guess within my family, my Kua matters most???
