Hello to all forumers, I have 4 dining chairs and the PU leather has flaked off. Has anyone done any re-upholstery(to PU, to leather or to acrylic) and any recommendations on the contractors? Thank you so much.. :yamseng:

Get a cord instead of cordless. You don't want to drill until half way and battery flat. Cord is more reliable although the convenience is not there..

Bosch is an industrial brand and for heavy duty drilling. Black and Decker are for home use.

Anyone tried "The Helping Hands" along Upper Serangoon Road?? -
All carpenters know how to install. But you need to inform your ID early that you are buying blum as the hinge hole and screw holes differ from one another. I have brought from Kiang Sing Hong, And believe it or not, buy from them is much cheaper than going through ID. Don't forget they have to earn. 2 hinges will require one soft closing mechanism. So you need to count how many hinges you need and divide the no. by half for the no. of soft closing. chEErs...

The selling price is really tempting.... Even a lower level 4rm unit could possibly fetch $500,000...

Going to 34 this year.. Will check the contract. I am a bit concern when the contract is ending as well. Some companies do not have perm headcount and they employ contract staff while waiting for headcount.

I am in a dilemma whether should i take up? I am also worried abt job security. haiz...

Hi There, Seems like his mail box is "Full".. Can any kind souls pm me the details? Many thanks.. Gong Hei Fatt Choy... -
That is daylight robbery.. BTW, is your new flat a resale or new? If it is a resale, the contractor will have to pay $$ to arrange the big metal bin to store all the debris. You can refer to hdb website for more info or there is a thread on hidden cost which you can refer to for ref.

Bedroom 3 - Second Son's room We are mindful of the door knob banging against on the wardrobe glass door, so there is a door stopper at the top of bedroom door. I will also be installing a row of rubber stoppers (very kiasu) on the wooden door frame. Wanted to open door at the other direction, but not suitable & convenient. The door stopper wouldn't help much.. Either you get a door closer that can hold at 90deg which i install for my toilet. Or you can buy those off the rack decent looking stopper with 3M tape behind and put it near the small little "pillar" "Sorry i can't post any pic"... So when you open the door, the door knob wouldn't hit the frosted glass.. meaning the door will only open for abt 70-80deg depending on the thickness of the stopper.. hope you get what i mean..
