page 30 of your Renovation Guide For Your HDB flat clause 2.1 says that you've to complete within 4mths from the date of the permit (to start your renovation)..so it doesn't start counting after collecting keys. hope it clarifies.

agree fully!! cos we walked half of balestier to recce for crystal lights..min $800 for swarovski crystals and it's only a small lamp... do expect $1k-$2k for a slightly bigger one.. !! erm..may i know why u shortlist all those BS? so far we're very satisfied with milan. very skilled in-house designer, talented make-up artiste, photographers for u to choose according to the style u fancy... flexible and working along with them is also comfortable (very impt!). i think before u sign a package with a BS, go and have a look at their gowns, try on if u can... if u like their designs then u find out their package. designs may look beautiful in magazine, but only when u wear it then the real image is out. go www.singaporebrides.com.sg to find more also. if u want, i can bring u to milan too. easier to negotiate also..and must find Wendy, the designer. the other Wendy is manager..aka Xiao Ying (she's a taiwanese and used to be a tv host in SG)

YAY~~!!! we've collected our keys and to be frank, u'll be pretty disappointed with the size of our MBR and living room. without hacking the wall, our MBR size is ALMOST THERE after u visualise the bed. for the living/dining, tv feature wall is like THERE and THAT'S IT! the dining is either behind your sofa area or beside........... but we're pretty satisfied with the toilets and kitchen. should be the same size as 5rm. as the entire paper work was super duper tedious...it took us 1hr30min to complete everything (including SP Power cos there's a queue) before we stepped out of HDB Hub. you've a total of 27 keys!! to collect. and for the chain & padlock, we didn't prepare. but we were surprised our ID brought one for us so it saves us..and them of cos..the trouble. Hi Ikoice..shay_d and I aren't married/registered yet. the gd news is..you've until 31 Mar 2009 to submit your marriage cert cos the completion of the flats are early. they honour the initial estimate date of completion..so there's no need to write or all that blah blah. hi ebing, yup..i'm overlaying both toilets and will change mbr toilet bowl and sink. mbr toilet will be black as well. looking forward to my enchanting toilet... !! common toilet full white..sink and toilet bowl subjected to shay_d's approval...cos he dun quite allow...shay_d hor? !! u shld just change everything since it's ur main toilet. no one's going to enjoy the toilet more than u liao. make the most of it! average overlay of toilet wall and floor less than $2k...so tweakmax, urs is a gd price.

hi yingsan.. 1.my haulage for 4rm is also $900 for tiling the entire hs. but i'll be laminating my 3 bedrms so it'll definitely be cheaper..probably $600? 5rm is $1100, $800 if laminate. 2.hdb provide both cement screed and labour, if u're doing laminate/parquet 3.if it'll come up to $1k...hai...i think can abolish my design...plus it can only have 1 door! what kind of stupid "fire safety" rule is that!! argh!! more exits isn't it safer?! omg........

wow!! thanks dear! ur info's definitely an immediate remedy to clear the smog~ so to confirm..we'll start throwing the mix frm MBR, MBR toilet, BR2, BR3, Common Toilet, Living/Dining, Kitchen, House shelter, Doorway... what's a guanyin leaf? teochew call the "ang hway" can or not? no children will be going in with us..but will be a few adults..there4 they can come in but have to follow according to where the mix has been scattered is it?
