If you're going for black color theme, just bear in mind that black color piping, accessories and hardware stuffs are so difficult to get in sg. Ie, i have to source for black colour bathroom accessories and taps from taobao coz the ones i've found in sg are so limited and the design are too ordinary imo. Originally wanted a black frame round bathroom mirror but sg has none after running many places online and offline... and taobao doesn't ship mirror. In the end, had to settle for oval frameless mirror.

Will be placing 2 shelves above the sink and 1 shelf above washing machine. That's why i didn't filled up the top wall with cabinets. Also, my id carpenters had install incorrect measurement for top cabinets which didn't leave enough space for the shelves. They need to dismantle and redo. That's why there's no door at the left-hand side in the pic. Guess our kitchen layout more or less the same. 2.7m is after minus away 70cm space reserved for fridge.

My kitchen counter top is ard 2.7m. After minus 86cm sink and 76cm cooker hob, i've still got ard 1m space to play ard. Moreover, am going to install open shelves bought from taobao to put appliances and etc. So definitely have enough space. However 76cm 2 burner hood are kinda hard to find. Looked for very long before settled for techno gas. Kitchen shelves bought from taobao

During key collection, the hdb officer specifically mentioned that we cannot change the shape and size of the windows as hdb want to maintain uniform windows look from the outside. Think it's indicated somewhere in the piles of documentations we've received from hdb. I've asked hdb officer whether can change to sliding windows and he said cannot.

Yes, fridge will be on the right. I usually take out everything that i need from the fridge when prep for cooking. So having the sink at that corner wouldn't pose any issue for me. Beside, this configuration is very similar to my current house and am used to it already. My only complain is kitchen counter and cooker hood abit low. My id didn't even consult me on the measurements despite numerous attempts to press him for the measurements. He kept insisting this is standard height. Since it's not that low to the extend that i have to bend when prep for food, i've decided to let it go. At least i could reach the top cabinets to console myself.

My bathroom accessories are also mainly black and brass from taobao. Bedroom not yet. Probably next week.

@lindatok The sp package thingy is standard. I've also had it pasted in my circuit box. It also contain your house electric wiring layout which is necessary for electric works in your reno. As for rusty gate, i've also had similar defect. Bsc just apply a coat of paint to fix this defect. Btw, am also west terra.

You'll have to see whether there's space for sliding door. I original wanted sliding door for kitchen bathroom entrance but had to give up because the storage heater hot/cold water outlet had block the way. Always remember to have a plan b in mind because some of the stuff can only be confirmed after site visit.

My reno cost me ard 25-30k. Had gotten id from qanvas.

There's a questionnaire when signing off defects and i've feedback about the toilet bowl location. The bsc folks gotten quite nervous when they see me writing stuff coz i think they're afraid that i'm complaining them. My reno should be completed by end of march if there's no hiccups. Am targeting to move in by mid april. Feel free to drop by if the gang are interested to visit but most likely have to be May. We'll comm via whatsapp to arrange again after i've moved in can?

Hi linda, Congrates on getting your keys. My floorplan is exactly the same as yours and i have the same toilet problem. However, I've managed to create wet/dry by shifting wet area to original sink area coz there's hot/cold water outlet at that area. And i've shifted the sink to the other side without doing much re-piping as i do not need hot water for sink. However my wet area is really narrow due to floor trap location and i need to overlay the original shower area wall to cover up the hot/cold water outlet and hdb special design tiles. Regarding reno design, you've gotta pick a theme, colors and/or design elements of your preference. And once you have a direction, it'll be easy when you need to make decision on stuffs like furniture shopping, picking laminates, decorating your house and etc.

Actually, your toilet layout looks okay. At least your toilet bowl is at the corner. Unlike mine, which is right in the middle. You'll just need to figure out where to place your bathroom sink and shower area to create wet/dry. Also, not sure whether u have collected key. Actual site visit will also affect your planning. For my case, my wet area is really narrow because of the floor trap. My id told me the floor trap could be moved but it'll void hdb 5yrs warranty. So i have decided to bear with it for at least 5yrs first. My bathroom. If build shower kerb at blue line area, it'll hit the window. So have to build at red line area.

The knobs are the body spray. Had wanted this when i went japan a couple of years back and the hotel i've stayed had shower panel system. But mine is a cheapo version... My latest woes is my ID told me may not be able to install storage heater above the cold/hot outlet vault coz he's afraid there might be piping. Which i thot it's abit ridiculous because hdb had designated that space for storage heater or else they wouldn't had placed the vault at that location right? Just wondering anyone had similar issue? Btw, my water heater is standard 15L square tank.
