As for the fridge space... i was told the gap is necessary on right hand side of the fridge only as you'll need the extra space to open the fridge. My fridge is 60cm width and the space i've reserved for fridge is 70cm. I think it's good enuff to accommodate most of the 2doors fridge. -

It's actually doable without partial sealing... i've done frame within frame as the original entrance width is too wide to fit in bi-fold frosted glass door. My id just installed some wooden sticks to patch the unevenness and paint black over the original door frame. -

Hi @lindatok The basin pipe inlet came from toilet bowl flush as shown below. The bidet washlet and bidet spray also share the same inlet. Basin pipe outlet goes to the floor trap as shown below. I've told my id that i don't want to drill hole for the pipe to go thru to prevent creepy crawlers. So he came out with keeping the pipe movable. The pipe can be lifted up. -

You can actually measure the width from floorplan. Just print out your floorplan on A4 size paper and use ruler to measure and times 100 to get rough estimate. Learnt this when i was scouting for IDs that the scale is ard 1:100 on A4 size paper. As for height, living rm is usually 3/4 of wall and bedroom 1/2 of wall excluding beam. -

Mine was cutoff patched with some white thingy as shown in photo below. You'll need to overlay your bathroom floor if you want to cover that up. Already installed floor guard thingy as shown in photo below... situation improved by alittle only. -

Icic.. my id advise me not to overlap shower screen with windows as the support wouldn't be strong. And i think it'll look abit weird. Had tried to google for shower screen overlapping windows for reference and couldn't seem to find any. That's why i choose not to overlap. Also, please remember to waterproof the wall that you're sealing to prevent moldy and etc. -

Not true leh.. my bathroom sliding is the same as shown in the pic with fixed panel on right side and sliding on left side. I don't have any water leakage problem on that side. -

@lindatok and @CaseBlue, As you have moved the shower area next to kitchen bathroom entrance, you may need to consider about water leakage from that entrance when you shower. When i first moved in, my kitchen is always flooded after i've showered. Not sure whether hdb bathroom door is diff as i have changed the bathroom doors to frosted glass bi-folding. The situation had improved after the door ppl to fix it but my kitchen floor is still wet sometimes if i'm not careful when showering... Water leakage as shown in pic before fixing. Red circle is source of water leakage. -

Yes, i have replaced original basin area wif shower and move basin to the other side in order to create wet/dry. And i have overlay original shower wall tile to cover up hot/cold water outlet. Also, my wet area is abit narrow (70cm width) due to the position of the floor trap. As shown in the photo, my shower kerb can only be built at red line area. Blue line area would overlap with windows. Floor trap cannot be moved unless u want to void hdb 5yrs warranty. Dun think it's advisable to remove false ceiling as i think the pipes are conceal inside the false ceilings. -

Not sure how to advice you on this one. There are different type of bathroom sink. Ie, over the top, undermount, vessel, pedestal, with vanity, semi-recessed and etc. You've gotta google for pros and cons before making a decision. I've gotten over the top built in sink with stainless steel vanity and bought the tap separately from taobao... total cost me ard $700... My original plan was to get single gas hob + induction cooker but went for 2 burner gas hob instead becoz single gas hob is more expensive... -

It's actually tempered glass. The shelves should be sturdy enuff to withstand the weight and i do not intend to put heavy items. Wasn't aware about plastic acrylic options. Guess it'll be good advice for other 2 roomers who intended to do the same thing. Most of my cabinets and shelves are purposely encased for easy maintenance. -

Yes. Because that's where hdb wanted me to place it. Originally wanted a sliding door but have to abandon because it's blocking the way. < 30k -

Thank you. I love it too. Lol, i do cook. Did comment to my id that i've noticed the cooker hood area might be abit too dark to see. And then he turn on the cooker hood light and i was like "oh... guess i'm a mountain turtle"... The rest of the kitchen counter area is well lit enough to do cooking.
