from my personal experience, positioning mirrors that conforms to FS are very tricky. cannot face main door, cannot face window, preferably one big piece. must be very careful as mirror 'absorbs', so must ensure cannot face the wrong thing.

did u try Baygon Vaporisor (the one which plug in to electricity)? I use this mainly for mozzies. but somehow, other insects also stopped flying in. other alternative: how about installing insect screen? i received a flyer in my letterbox the other day on this product but have not used it.

i think it is important to know what is reflected on the mirror. ie. was told that it is not ideal to have 2 adjoining mirror in front of a dinning table. cos the image of the dining table on the mirror is actually split (signifies broken family??)

definitely citygas. cleaner, no need to worry abt gas leak plus non-stop supply of gas 4-5days of cooking is considered heavy usage by today's standard. sometimes the rusty cylinder dirty the floor tiles.

no prob for two unreleated persons buy private properties. if one of u own a HDB, within 5years MUP cannot buy private prop. if either one own a HDB, then property tax will be 10% (instead of 4% for owner staying). u need to chk out CPF rulings too (ie. if already using CPF for one property, need to set aside minimum sum in the CPF a/c, before it can be used for 2nd house). U two need to decide manners of holding (joint tenants or tenants-in-common). basically if two of u do not own any property, no major issues. if u do not use CPF, even less issue.

i heard that if the centre of gravity (of the house) is a toilet, avoid the house at all costs.

ops I made a mistake, i bought at Asia Excel Marketing IMM not the one which I mentioned...sorry! this slim pull out model is TL1 62. i think the performance is Ok, I seldom cook or use it so difficult to judge. this is in fact the cheapest one actually.

u must buy appropriate pots + check that yr power point supporting the stove can provide sufficient power . I think it is 16 AMP for 2 induction and 32AMP for 4 induction hobs (to confirm with yr supplier). the area around the induction hob is resist up to 100degree or something like that..

i went to Hoe Kee IMM. perhaps I bought a lot of items together so they gave better disc.

anyone seen this type of water feature? i secretly took this yday just outside a massage shop, hence the bad quality. think this will fit very well into a tight space. where else can I get it? been to two nuseries but they were expensive! big ones are ex but small ones doesn't come cheap.. was quoted $9xx to $17xx. almost fainted.

many places sell Teka even if you dun see the whole range of Teka products. they just pass u the catalogue and u pick from there. tt's what I did at a IMM shop.

i stayed at mum's plce for 20+ years before I moved out. her place is W-E direction too. kitchen faces east and living room + common rooms faces west . the only good thing is that clothes can be air dried within a few hours. we hang clothes around the windows to keep the glare out, so in fact our house is darker than those NS houses. we cannot take a nap in the afternoon too.

yes it will be very hot. sun shining on walls is hotter than shining on window. walls trap heat. look around is there another building to block the sun rays from this room? actually at this time of the year, u can experience the heat liao...

joint lines on solid surface is not very visible IF yr supplier's workmanship is good. if one big piece, probably can't fit into elevator!
