Ya... the major things already bought liao...that's y pockets have big holes now.... settled most of the things liao...now waiting for reno to start in june... can can... we live so near...neighbours liao...can come and look look when more things are done...

hahaha! now waiting to install the aircon pipings end of this may... then the reno can start in full force liao.. I already bought abt 13K worth of things and 2K plus as deposit.. Another 8K more need to pay when things are delivered in june and july period! Lucky still within budget.... Now, I only left the most expensive things in the house need to buy...the 2 TVs! Waiting for the June sales and PC show to see any greater discounts and good buys! Small small things can slowly buy....

My unit is beside the MCP.. !! hehehehe~ That day hubby just go and made noise while waiting for the starhub technicians to check the TV signals.. Finally common toliet door can open wider if not always "stuck" in the middle of the basin...how to wash face or hands... Then he realised that our main door now very hard to close it..seems like the wooden door has expanded abit..another complaint made... waiting again...

My grout was redone last week.. So far, I haven't done any normal or chemical washing yet... Cannot see whether the new one will drop off.. But sure look better than the dirty looking grout.. BUt some grout was not done properly....was thinking whether want to complain anot.. I saw someone posted...saying that the grout may came off becos it will not "eat" unless u redo all the tiles... I think the defects are forever no ending...

Nice... I am going to a simple platform there... now still deciding the height of the platform.. Cos ID said can max until 30cm in height...his current proposal is 15cm.. Hubby find that 15cm is abit too low...

Hi Shutiao.. Remember me? Your neighbour at 14th floor... I havent started my reno yet cos also waiting for them to complete the defects.. Today, I just make noise about the grout in living room, kitchen and toliets! But I hope everything can be done in March and start reno in April...

Below the defects form, there is a clause there indicated... "Submit within 7 days after key collection or before renovation starts" Becos once renovation starts, it is not their lability anymore... So is best everything properly first then start renovation if you are not in the rush to move in... If you are particular abt the open door practices, better dun anyhow open...must choose a date which both of you do not have any clashes with the day.. Just like date of renovation start and date of moving in also must choose date.. But I think if you ask the old folks, they sure ask you must choose date.. Cos I told my mum abt key collection date, she warned me not to open the door unless the date is chosen! Hahahaha! So far, I only talked to my fren abt the reno stuff... My hubby has no patience to talk to a few IDs and repeat the same stuff for a few hrs.. I removed some carpentry and also added in a few after the 2nd rd of discussion.. Hubby warned me not to add things anyhow.. Cos now over budget by 2K..

No need to report within 1 week lah.. As long as u haven't start reno, can ask submit the defects to the office at the contractor's office at the carpark there... They will be there until august or november this year.. After they are closed, we will have to report to town council which is very troublesome and take along time to come down to check...

Mine is the straight one.. Corner...nearest to the carpark... Hubby want high floor so left 14th and 11th for us to choose..in the end got 14...much to his delight... hahahaha~ Me intend to start reno after cny... This week, hubby not free on weekend.... Sigh..don't know whether to give the defect list first then report for new ones when we have time to check again...

Just want to clarify.. The hollow tiles in toliets meant for the floor not the walls, cos the walls are hollow anyway... Ok..where is the other thread btw? me at 14th floor! Just went thru 2nd round of discussion with my fren who do reno... Now waiting for revised quotation... Intend to look for 2 more IDs to compare... I don't want to look for too many IDs cos outside market is roughly the same.... My hubby has no patience sit for hrs to repeat same things to a few IDs... Cos 2 friends went outside to ask, all charge much higher... Of course, my fren will charge lesser cos he run this business on his own and has no shop so no head cost to cover.... That may be the reason why he can keep his cost low... So far, he manage to get 1 business when I posted his website in forum.. Folks! Long time never post here! I'm one of those who got keys ard ard 1 mth after selection.. Both of us unable to get the AHG so never apply it.... Supposed to get my keys on 7 Dec but I defer until 21 Dec cos went holiday..Dun want to rush to collect and choose date to open door... So now, there is some defects but no major ones.. My living room tiles got some stain marks... BUt some of you said got different tone or shade for the replacement tiles, now abit scared scared leh... I need to check the bedrooms floorings which I never checked carefully... So far, my defects are as below.. Kitchen 1. Windows - Got holes at the side. (Areas taped with masking tape). 2. Toliet - Hollow Tiles - Door can be pushed open after closed - Shower head turn rusty. 3. Tiles (Near drainage) - Edges got holes. Living Room 1. Tiles - Hollow Tiles - Edges got holes - Yellow stained marks on tiles. 2. Main Door - Top hinge area got a hole at ceiling. - Cracked lines at the centre of the door. 3. Main Gate - Top padlock holes not parallel. Master Bedroom 1. Toliet - Windows cannot close. - Shower head turn rusty. Windows for kitchen, living room, 2 toliets and 3 bedrooms. 1. Stained or dirty. Letterbox lock 1. Unable to open smoothly as lock has turn rusty.

Yap.. My hubby said the tiles not nice.... Abit out of fashioned liao.. Too bad, we are premium flats as the cost already inbulit in the purchase price.. If not, I sure hack them off!
