True, Midea is an OEM brand and help other brands but do note each European and American brands have their QA acceptance level which could be and are higher standards than Midea hence giving us the current quality products. Midea is a major air-con brand in China as their price alot cheaper compared to Japan / European brand, something I dont see in Singapore market. Please dont get fooled by salesperson talk about OEM and helping other big company products as Aircon breakdown can be costly and cause alot of hassle to us. Just my 2 cents
