  1. Hello, sorry been busy with work and travelling to join in the chat and home visits. Have u guys seen this video on YouTube? Pretty relevant for our 2 rooms I'm inspired again.
  2. Prefer high level too but I got 4th floor for my bto. My Q no.was Whaaaaaaaaaat behind. By the time it's my selection date. It's left with low floor for Type 2 but many for Type 1 at high floor.
  3. OMG @kyooko LOL same with my mom leh! No point trying to explain about privacy. To them we are a family, what is so private? Luckily single scheme BTO allowed at non mature estates only, I choose a 16km away BTO from them. BTW, she has request me to prepare her a spare key incase i misplace my keys or forgot to turn on water heater/gas before I leave home.
  4. pretty accurate for Sagittarius too! my failed patch blankets and house filled with plants hehe ...
  5. Ya man else I will forgo the living area also. roll out mats and sit on the floor looking at the HDB showroom, it seems like doable but again the real thing may be different. Thanks for your advise mmoh. Will have to reconsider the size for WIW.
  6. yes, pauline. will seal up as I dont really need 2 entrance. its not drawn to scale so its just my agaration. I have yet decide if I want a super single or queen size bed.
  7. Am I too ambitious ar? I know its a long way ahead and new ideas/designs may surface but for now this is what I would like to have.

My 2 room BTO @ Yishun. Sharing my ambitious ideas in such limited space.
  9. Salute u for your DIY projects. Read your blog and salute again! power girl! I know the sense of satisfaction but lao niang me too lazy hahaha....off topic abit. many years ago I want to make myself a patch blanket. shapes and fabrics all cut and only managed to patch up 2 pieces and i left it there for the longest time. tsk tsk tsk...
  10. Hello MsBunny! Great to meet HDB Cat owners here Please show us your DIY progress, cross reference mah. BTW do you cat proof your windows and gate? I'm looking for those clear plastic/acrylic panels for my current place but not sure where.
  11. Hahahaha cos turning lao zhabor in 2019 and women are also more prone to osteoporosis as we age. I was telling my friends that I might hold my 40th birthday bash cum house warming at the new flat's void deck.
  12. I'm 158cm and I may shrink in 4 years time so ceiling fan shouldn't be a problem for me. LOL will prepare safety helmets for my tall friends.
  13. I will install aircon in the bed room area for hot days. Not sure if living area is needed. But I will definitely install ceiling fans in both. I'm not an aircon person especially at home. I like it airy. Right now I'm staying on 28th floor, so windy and no need for aircon. But my 2 room at Yishun is on the 4th floor. I don't know what to expect.
  14. ya lor so it will be something similar but smaller scale. make use of the vertical space.
  15. I am not sure if its do-able but I like the idea of having a balcony for tea/breakfast area. Any advise from existing home owners? Since I'm gonna live alone with 2 cats, I have so many ideas but with limited space Should I hack the wall between living room and bed room? Is there space for walk in wardrobe? Do I need a dining area? (I may want to invite close friends to chillax) It would be lovely to have a cat climbing wall like this at 1 side of the wall.
